Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with ratavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Technical Specification Cl 401. For grading III material.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.

Providing and laying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502.

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg/sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification cluase 503.

20mm thick Open graded premix carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/ modified bitumen ) binder : Providing , laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregate either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to reqd line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, incl mixing in a suitably plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity finished to reqd level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either type A or type B or type C as per tech specification cl 508 by mechanical means : Bitumen (S90)

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels grade and cross fall using type A, Type B as per tech. spec.

Construction of un reinforced, dowel jointed at expansion and cotraction joint only, plain cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement or any other type as per clause 1501.2.2 M-30 (grade), coarse and fine agrregate conforming IS:383 maximum size size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed formwork (steel channel, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges, steel plates including levelling the formwork as per drawing), spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacting using needle, screed and plate vibrator and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, applying debonding stripes, primer sealent, dowel bars, near approches to bridge/culvert and construction joints, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14 days. Using curing compoud (where specified) and water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and technical specification clause 1501.
