The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Subcontractor. The experience can be in the bidder's own country or in other countries. The bidder needs to provide information on:
- Number of years of experience as a Prime Contractor, including experience in their own country and other countries.
- Number of years of experience in a Joint Venture, including experience in their own country and other countries.
- Number of years of experience as a Subcontractor, including experience in their own country and other countries. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, in the last seven years and as a prime contractor (or as a nominated subcontractor), one Bridge Work or Lining Work or Hydraulic Structure Work or Building Work or Mechanical Work or Electrical Works or Other Civil Works, as the work may be, of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should have completed similar works during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. The bidder should also submit details of their experience in similar works, including the type of works, location, and country. The bidder should have a minimum turnover amount and should have completed similar works as per Clause 4.3. The values and percentages mentioned are as follows:
- One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost.
- Two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work.
- Three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work.
- The bidder should have a minimum liquid asset and/or availability of credit facilities as per Clause 4.3.
- The bidder should have completed works with a value updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB. The bidder should also submit a statement showing the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, signed by the Engineer-in-Charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder should also submit an undertaking that their available bid capacity, calculated as per Clause 4.4, is more than the total value of their financial bid. The bidder should also provide proof of their available bid capacity, calculated as per Clause 4.4, and an undertaking that they agree to the terms and conditions of the bidding document, including the technical requirements. The bidder should also provide proof of their valid EPF registration and GST/VAT number. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed one Bridge Work or Lining Work or Hydraulic Structure Work or Building Work or Mechanical Work or Electrical Works or Other Civil Works, as the work may be, of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation.
