The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works, such as Bridge Work, Lining Work, Hydraulic Structure Work, Building Work, Mechanical Work, Electrical Works, or Other Civil Works. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, one work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, or two works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost, or three works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have achieved an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, of at least 30% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, they can have an average annual financial turnover of at least 15% of 30% of the estimated cost over the last three years. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should have completed similar works with specific values and percentages, including one work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, two works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost, or three works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost. However, specific values for the minimum turnover amount, liquid asset, and/or availability of credit facilities are not mentioned. The bidder is also required to provide information about subcontractor(s) if they propose to use them for critical components of the works or for work contents in excess of 10 percent of the value of the whole works.
