The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, and as a Subcontractor in their own country and other countries. The bidder should provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work was completed. The information shall include the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder should have completed works amounting to equal or more than the appropriate class and category of WRD enlistment. The maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last three years is also required. The bidder's available bid capacity is calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bid capacity is calculated using a formula that considers the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of the projects. The bidder is required to submit an undertaking that their available bid capacity is more than the total value of their financial bid. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, of at least 30% of the estimated cost.
