The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Subcontractor, with specifications for experience in their own country and other countries. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work, with the option to provide details of multiple similar works. For similar works, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor (or as a nominated subcontractor), one Bridge Work or Lining Work or Hydraulic Structure Work or Building Work or Mechanical Work or Electrical Works or Other Civil Works, of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Alternatively, they can provide details of two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should provide details of their experience in similar works, including the type of works, location, and value of the contract. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by considering the escalation factors. The value of similar works completed should be provided in Indian Rupee, except for works carried out abroad, which can be furnished in American Dollars. The bidder is also required to provide information on their average annual turnover, details of contracts of similar nature and complexity, and particular construction experience record. They should also provide information on their existing commitments and availability of credit line, equipment availability, and availability of personnel. The bidder needs to submit an affidavit stating that they have not abandoned any work under the Government of India or Govt. of Punjab, nor have any contracts been rescinded during the last five years prior to the date of the bid. They should also submit an undertaking that they will invest a minimum cash amount during the implementation of the contract, with a specific percentage mentioned as 25% of the contract value of work.
