The bidder is required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering works. The bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have completed works with a value that allows them to have an Assessed Available Bid Capacity more than the estimated value of the project/work. For works above a certain value (Rs 5.00 Crore), the bidder is required to submit a list of similar works completed during previous years. The bidder needs to have experience and capability to execute the work as per technical specifications within the stipulated period of completion. A specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in the context of Sub-Contractor(s), which should not be used for more than 10 percent of the value of the whole works. Additionally, the bidder shall submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation. The bidder is also required to submit details of their available bid capacity, with an undertaking that their available bid capacity is more than the estimated value of the project/work. The formula to calculate the Assessed Available Bid Capacity is: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A* N* 2 - B) Where A = Maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. B = Value of existing commitments (only allotted works) on the last date of submission of bids as per bidding document and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. The bidder should have a Project/Work Manager with at least 2 years of experience, a Construction Engineer with a BE (Civil) degree, and a Diploma Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the respective category. The bidder needs to have a valid enlistment with the Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board under the appropriate class and category of work for works from Rs 0.50 lakh to Rs 5.00 Crore. If not enlisted, the bidder fulfilling the eligibility criteria may participate in the tender/bid process. Mentioned values and percentages include: - 10 percent of the value of the whole works for Sub-Contractor(s) - 25% of the contract value for investment during implementation - Rs 5.00 Crore for works above this value - Rs 0.50 lakh to Rs 5.00 Crore for works within this range.
