The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having prior work experience in civil engineering works. For works valued from 0.50 lakh to Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have a valid enlistment with the appropriate class and category of work. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have completed similar works in previous years, supported by a performance certificate. The bidder should have completed works with a value that allows them to have an assessed available bid capacity. The value of similar works completed should be supported by a performance certificate from the authority for whom the work was completed. Specifically, for works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor (or as a nominated sub-contractor), one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder should also have completed similar works with a value of at least 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. Additionally, the bidder should submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The bidder should have access to equipment, including major equipment, and should submit an equipment availability or access commitment. The bidder is required to fill out a "PARTICULAR CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE RECORD" which includes details such as "Detail of work", "Amount (Rs.)", and "Financial Year". The maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years should be updated to the price level of the year indicated. The bidder should have an annual turnover of a certain amount from construction works only, and should enclose testimonials (certified copies of annual reports/certificates) in support of their claim. The bidder should also submit experience on similar works, including details of earthwork, granular sub-base/base, RE walls, concrete in bridges, and other specified requirements. The bidder should have completed works that demonstrate their capability to execute and complete the works as per technical specifications within the stipulated period. The bidder should submit a list of equipment and machinery available with documentary proof of ownership or lease deed of machinery proposed for deployment for execution of work. The bidder should also submit qualifications and experience of key site management and technical personnel proposed for the contract. The bidder should submit a preliminary description of the proposed work method and schedule, including drawings and charts, as necessary, to justify their capability of execution and completion of works as per technical specifications, within the stipulated period of completion.
