The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the completion of similar works during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work. Alternatively, the bidder should have completed three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by enhancing the value of executed works at a given rate. Additionally, for works from Rs 0.50 lakh to Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have a valid enlistment with Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board under the appropriate Class and Category of work. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work, and they should provide an undertaking to this effect. The bidder should also provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during implementation.
