Supply of skilled and unskilled labour, machinery as per requirement/ directions of Er. In charge to undertake take the following mentioned items of work as and when required.
a) Changing of sleepers damaged or unserviceable at any time.
b) Changing of rails 52 kg including transportation from store to site.
c) Fixing check rails.
d) Cutting of rails with hexa blades.
e) Drilling holes in 52kg rails (29 mm to 31mm)
f) Realignment of rail damaged due to derailment
g) For attending any allied works.
The above labour/ machinery will be deployed only in emergent condition such as derailment/accident/other emergent repairs. All T&P, consumables etc. shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost, so the contractor should quote rates accordingly.

Routine mtc. of B.G track length of about 5.5 kms approx. of stage-II including its 21 Nos. points and x-ings and level x-ings involving the following operations to be performed during the month in order to keep the entire Rly. Track in fit & running conditions for movement of trains at all times.
a) Patrolling of entire length of 5.5 kms track of stage-II for identification and rectification of track, tightening of all loose fittings such as keys, bolts, jaws etc.
b) Shallow screening/overhauling of BG track (Average qty. = 150 Mtr. Per month) including its points and X-ings to provide effective drainage of water from the track and disposal of screened muck to suitable site as decided by Er-in-charge within the plant area as per IRPWM. c) Through packing of B.G track (Average qty. = 300 Mtr. Per month) including its points and X-ings observing all stipulations complete as per IRPWM.
d) Mtc. of points and crossings (21 Nos.)by cleaning, overhauling, greasing etc. twice a month.
e) Mtc. of level x-ing by overhauling in running condition of track including graphiting etc. as per requirement.
f) Removal of burr metal from track by chisel by deploying hammer man.
g) Up keeping the dead ends.
h) Pick up slacks of low joints to maintain track geometry.
i) Maintaining curves and re- alignment by string method.
j) Maintaining gaps at fish plated joints & Oiling and graphiting etc. (Average qty. =90 Joints Per month). k) Providing & maintaining katcha/ pacca drains in railway yard for quick drainage of rain water from railway track. l) Extensive patrolling of track during monsoons. m) Routine cleaning of railway track by removing of grass / wild growth from track and around up to 90 cm from toe of ballast to keep it free from grass/ wild growth manually/ by using pesticides as per requirement. However during monsoon period (July to October), additional labour, if deployed, by the contractor is payable under item no.-2.
n) Upkeep of sign boards / signals etc. as per railway standards.
o) Drilling of holes & cutting of rails as per requirement.
p) Spreading the ballast when required. q) Replacement of rails, sleepers, points & crossings which are worn out & damaged.
