The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor, with experience in similar works. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also provide information on the value of the total contract, date of award, and date of completion for similar works, as well as details on the nature of works and special features relevant to the contract. The bidder should have completed works in excess of 10 percent of the value of the whole works. The value of work may be enhanced at a simple rate of 8% per annum. The bidder should provide a list of works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. Additionally, the bidder should have access to a line of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, certified by the Bankers, which is 10% of the contract value. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The required prior work experience for various personnel is as follows: - Project/Work Manager: BE (Civil) with at least 2 years experience - Site Engineer: BE (Civil) or Diploma (Civil) with at least 2 years experience - Plant Engineer: B.E. (Mech.) or Dip. (Mech.) with at least 2 years experience - Quality Control Engineer: B.E. (Civil) or Dip. (Civil) with at least 2 years experience - Survey Engineer: ITI qualified Surveyor The specific values and percentages of similar works completed are: - one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work - two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work - three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work - 10% of the value of the whole works - 10% of the contract value for access to a line of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities - 25% of the contract value of work during implementation.
