The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a certain level of experience, with specific requirements for different roles: - Project/Work Manager: BE (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience - Site Engineer: BE (Civil) & BE (Elect.) or Diploma (Civil / Elect.) with at least 2 years of experience - Quality Control Engineer: B.E. (Civil) or Dip. (Civil) with at least 2 years of experience For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The value is updated to the price level of the Financial year in which bids are received at a rate per year. The bid capacity of the prospective bidders will be calculated as under: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = (A* N* 2 - B) Where A = Maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year (year means Financial year) during the last five years. N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. B = Value (updated to the price level of the year indicated in BDS) of existing commitments (only allotted works) on the last date of submission of bids as per bidding document and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. The bidder should provide information on their experience in similar works, including the value of the total contract, and details of earthwork, granular sub-base/base, RE walls, and concrete in bridges. The bidder should also provide a certificate from the employer showing details of their share of work. The bidder is also required to provide information on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB. The bidder should provide information on their current commitments on all contracts that have been awarded, including the value of the contract, percentage of completion, and amount outstanding. Specific values and percentages of similar works completed are mentioned for works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, which include 80%, 50%, and 40% of the estimated cost of work.
