The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last five years. The requirements for similar works are as follows: - One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work - Two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work - Three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor. The experience can be in the bidder's own country or in other countries. For Works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed. The bidder should provide details of their experience in similar works, including the name of the contract, location, nature of work, contract number and date, amount of participation, percentage and amount sub-contracted, name and address of the client, contract value, length of the project, stipulated date of completion, value of outstanding work, and estimated completion date. Additionally, the bidder should mention the number of years they have been in the business of similar works under their present name. The bidder should also provide details of their experience in similar works, including the name of the Project/Work, the client, the contract value, and the percentage of work completed. However, specific values like amount and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned in some cases, such as the bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder should submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during the implementation of the work. The bidder should also provide proof of access to or availability of overdraft/credit facilities to meet their working capital requirements, usually equivalent to the estimated cash flow for 3 months in the peak construction period, and evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities, which is 10% of the contract value, certified by the bankers.
