The bidder is required to have prior work experience, specifically a list of similar works completed during the previous years. The information to be provided includes the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder should have completed one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost or two similar works each of value not less than 60% of the estimated cost of work or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (in the similar works) equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder is also required to provide a performance certificate from the authority for whom the work was completed. The bidder should have completed similar works satisfactorily as a prime contractor or as a nominated subcontractor during the previous 5 years. The bidder is required to provide an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the contract value of the work during its implementation. The values of works/Financial Turnover may be enhanced at a simple rate of 8% per annum. For works above 1.00 Crore, the bidder should provide details of their available bid capacity, with an undertaking to this effect, and have an available bid capacity of more than the total value of their financial bid.
