Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion SS on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85kg/sqm complete as per technical clause 502 of MORT&H specifications

Relaying of recovered material obtained from dismantling of road crust as construction of granular sub base by providing coarse graded material grading-II spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achive the desired density, complete as per technical clause 401 MORT&H specifications

Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 0.25kg per sqm area as per IRC:35 1997 complete as per technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications

Earth work undressed with a combined lead upto 2 meters including breaking of cloads complete in all respect as per PWD specifications.

Heritage & Culture Cess @ 1%

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage from mix plant to site of work, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical clause 406 of MORT&H specifications

Compaction of earth work & Prepration of sub grade including loosening, leveling of earth 225mm thick top layer, rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level, camber, watering, rolling with road roller, compacting the bed to achieve minimum dry density as given in table 300-2 as per technical clause 305 of MORT&H specifications.

Providing and laying Dense graded bituminous macadam (Grade-II) 50mm to 75mm thick with continuous type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 4.5%, carriage of mixed material to site of work, laying with paver finisher mechanical to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 505 of MORT&H specifications. NOTES:- (i) Job mix formula ofr the dense bituminous macadam shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from Punjab PWD, B&R Reserch Laboratory Patiala before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specification of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 4.50% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid/ deducted accordingly. The limits of variation shall be worked out with the approved formula/ TECHNICAL NOTE:- (I) Apart fromthe conformity with the grading and quantity requirement of individual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for dense bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 505 of MORT&H specifications (II) The final grading for the aggregates required for dense bituminous macadam confirming to table 500.10 of MOrT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the dense bituminous macadam designed from Punjab PWD B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as the approved mix. THe aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). (III) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details source and location of all material:- (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (c) Crushed Bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (e) A Single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. (f) Density of dense bituminous macadam after compaction will be not less than 2.30 gm/CC.
