Relaying of recoverd material obtained from dismantling of road crust as Construction of granular sub-base by providing material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per MORD technical specifications

Providing and laying of Brick on end edging 6.83cm wide, 11.11cm long and 22.86cm high half brick deep including excavation, refilling and disposal of surplus earth up to 50mtr complete as per Punjab PWD specifications.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of Grading I to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications.

Water Bound Macadam Grading II (With Screening) Providing and laying patch work with stone aggregates of Grading II laid to water bound macadam specification after trimming the pot hole, removal of failed material, hand packing, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and rolling with smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonnes to match the adjoining surface complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications.

Providing and laying surface dressing in single coat using crushed stone aggregates of specified size on a layer of bituminous binder VG-10 @ 1kg per sqm laid on prepared surface after cleaning the road surface and rolling with 8-10 tonne smooth wheeled steel roller complete as per technical clause 509 of MORT&H specifications.

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.40 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface/granular surface treated with prime coat after cleaning the surface complete as per technical specifications.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam 50mm to 75mm thick with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG-30@3.4% laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade,level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 504 of MORT&H specifications "Notes:- I. The actual volume of the aggregate to be paid for shall be computed after deducting the specified percentage from the volume computed by stacks measurement as per MORT&H specifications (addendum to latest revision) for the purpose of secured advance." II. The final grading for the aggregates required for bitumenious macadam course Grading 2 for 75mm/50mm thickness of each layer conforming to table 500-7 of M.O.R.T. & H specifications (addendum to latest rivision) shall be determined after getting the bitumenious macadam grading-2 designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Reserach Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved by shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set fourth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). III. The mix shall exhibit the following details: a) Binder expressed as a percentage by weight of total mix. b) Coarse aggregate of 26.5 mm gauge expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. c) Crushed Bajri of 11.2 mm size expressed as percentage of weight by total mix. d) Fine aggregates 4.75 mm below expressed as percentage of weight by total mix. e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. f) Density of Bitumenious macadam (75mm/50mm thick after compaction) shall be minimum 2.2 gms/C.C & nothing extra shall be payable if higher density is achieved at site. IV. The contractor thereafter, shall be required to complete the supply of various ingradients or Bituminous macadam as per proportions stipulated in the approved mix. V. Rate of B.M. shall be quoted by the contractor with respect to binder content percentage by weight of mix being 3.4% if Laboratory designs a mix with different percentage then the difference shall be payable/recoverable.

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous concrete 25mm to 30mm thick with batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5%, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 508 of MORT&H specifications. NOTES : -(i) Job mix formula for the semi dense bituminous concrete shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from the Project Engineer before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specification of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 5% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid / deducted accordingly. The limits of variation shall be worked out with the approved formula. TECHNICAL NOTE : - i.) A part from the confirmity with the grading and quantity requirement of invidual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. e coarse and fine aggregate for semi dense bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 508 of MORT & H specifications. ii) The final grading for the aggregates required for bituminous concrete confirming to table 500.15 of MORT & H specifications shall be determined after getting the semi dense bituminous concrete designed from either CRRI, New Delhi of Punjab PWD Laboratory at Patiala or any other labaoratory approved by the Chief Engineer/ Deptt. after obtaining 60% of the material for the required grading. The cost of mix design shall be recovered from the contractor. The design mix so finaly approved by theEngineer-in-Charge shall be termed as approved mix. If it is within the permissible limit. In case of variation the same may be got approved from the Chief Engineer Punjab PWD B&R Br. Patiala iii) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details, source and location of all material: - iii (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. iii (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. iii (c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. iii (d) Final aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix iii (e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. iii (f) Density of semi dense bituminous concrete after compaction will be not less than 2.30 gm/CC.

Cement concrete 1:8:16 with stone aggregates 40mm gauge mixing by mechanical means using concrete mixer volumetric type.

Providing and laying 60 mm thick factory made cement concrete interlocking Paving blocks of M-35 grade manufactured by block making machine equipped with steel mould clamped to a strong vibratory table with hydraulic pressure for compaction of concrete as per IRC SP 63 -2014 and of approved size and design / shape laid inOrdinary Grey Colour and pattern over and including 40 mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, filling the joints with fine sand etc, all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge.

Cement concrete1:2:4 with stone ballast or shingle mixing by mechanical means using concrete mixer volumetric type

Construction of 600 mm dia NP-3 Hume Pipe Culvert complete in all respect as per PWD specification.

Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 0.25kg per sqm area as per IRC:35 1997 complete as per technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications.

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beeds capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values shall be as given in the detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 and fixed to the road surface using the adhesive. Two cylindrical Polymer Shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be molded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl methecrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause 804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications.
