Dismantling of existing damaged Bitumen surface by Cold Milling Machine upto 60mm depth

Crack Prevention Courses (Stress AbsorbingMembrane crack width less than 6mm)Laying of a stress absorbing membrane over a cracked road surface after cleaning the road surface, using modified binder CRMB-55 complying with clause 517 @ 0.90kg per sqm and crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, spraying binder and spreading crushed stone aggregates, sweeping the surface for uniform spread of aggregates complete as per technical clause 517 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion RS using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface/granular surface treated with prime coat after cleaning the surface complete as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam 60mm thick with batch type HMP using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG-40 @ 4.5%, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 505 of MORT&H specifications NOTES:- (i) Job mix formula for the dense bituminous macadam shall be provided by the agency and shall be got approved from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala before adoption at site for execution. (ii) The specification of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 4.50% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid/ deducted accordingly. The limits of variation shall be worked out with the approved formula. TECHNICAL NOTE:- I.) Apart from the conformity with the grading and quantity requirement of individual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for dense bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 505 of MORT&H specifications. II.) The final grading for the aggregates required for dense bituminous macadam confirming to table 500.10 of MORT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the dense bituminous macadam designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision). III.) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details source and location of all material:- (a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix. (e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates. (f) Density of dense bituminous macadam after compaction will be not less than 2.30 gm/CC

Moulded Shank Road Stud Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shankreflective road studs made out of polycarbonate/ABS moulded body and reflectivepanels with micro prismatic lens or Glass Beedscapable of providing total internal reflection of thelight entering the lens face with retro reflectanceand chromaticity values shall be as given in thedetailed specifications and the product shallconform to ASTM D4280. Flexible Median MarkerProviding and Fixing of Flexible Median Markers as per IRC 79:2019 which shall be made ofcombination of tough, high impact resistant molded thermoplastic body along with florescentyellow color retro-reflective type XI sheeting withminimum exposed reflective area 285 square mmand with rebound property. The reflective sheetingshould confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellowsheeting as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956-11. The flexible median marker shall have overallheight of minimum 180 mm, body thickness ofminimum 2mm and shank depth of minimum30mm. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be onboth sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shallbe edge protected with no exposed edges whichwill prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheetingdamage, etc. The edge of sheeting should notcome out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc.The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossedon either side of the body. Solar RPM/ Stud Providing and installation of solar cateyeproduced from an engineered polymer selectedfor superior impact resistance and weather-ability. The solar cateye shall be of height: 65 ± 2 mm & Maximum Diameter: 136 ± 4 mm. Thebody of the solar cateye shall be resistant to dust and water ingress as per IP 65 standards. Themarker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280.
