(ii) The specification of this item for analytic purpose is kept with bitumen content @ 4.50% weight of mix variation as compared with job mix formula shall be paid/ deducted accordingly. The limits of variation shall be worked out with the approved formula.
TECHNICAL NOTE:-
I.) Apart from the conformity with the grading and quantity requirement of individual ingredients exhibited above the mix aggregate i.e. coarse and fine aggregate for dense bituminous concrete shall meet all requirements set forth clause 505 of MORT&H specifications.
II.) The final grading for the aggregates required for dense bituminous macadam confirming to table 500.10 of MORT&H specifications shall be determined after getting the dense bituminous macadam designed from Punjab PWD, B&R Research Laboratory Patiala after obtaining 60% of material. The design mix so finally approved shall be termed as the approved mix. The aggregates shall be hydrophobic and of low porosity. The aggregates shall satisfy the physical requirement set forth in table 500-6 (addendum to latest revision).
III.) The approved mix shall exhibit the following details source and location of all material:-
(a) Binder expressed as percentage by weight of total mix.
(b) Course expressed as percentage by weight of total mix.
(c) Crushed bajri expressed as percentage by weight of total mix.
(d) Fine aggregate expressed as percentage by weight of total mix.
(e) A single definite percentage passing each sieve for mixed aggregates.
(f) Density of dense bituminous macadam after compaction will be not less than 2.30 gm/CC

Supplying and installation of delineators (Roadway indicators) not less than 800mm high above ground level. The delineator shall have a core and shell construction which shall be made of tough, high impact resistant, injection-moulded, thermoplastic outer body. The inner core shall consist of powder coated or painted Mild steel of minimum thickness 1.0mm. The delineator should have top retro-reflective unit consisting of white colour micro prismatic non-metallic retro-reflective sheeting on both sides having a minimum exposed area of 125 cm2 each side and bottom retro-reflective unit consisting of red colour micro prismatic non-metallic retro-reflective sheeting on both sides having minimum exposed area of 35 cm2 each side confirming to ASTM D4956 type XI standards. Providing & Fixing Reflective Pavement Markers (Road Studs) from ASA (Acrylic Styrene Providing and Fixing of Flexible Median Markers as per IRC 79:2019 which shall be made of combination of tough, high impact resistant molded thermoplastic body along with florescent yellow color retro-reflective type XI sheeting with minimum exposed reflective area 285 square mm and with rebound property. The reflective sheeting should confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellow sheeting as per IRC 67 2012 and ASTM D4956- 11. The flexible median marker shall have overall height of minimum 180 mm, body thickness of minimum 2mm and shank depth of minimum 30mm. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be on both sides of the Flexible Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The edge of sheeting should not come out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body. The product design has to with stand all natural impacts and should not get damaged if any pedestrian stamp on top of it intentionally or unintentionally. The product should bend up to 90 degree on both sides without breakage or damage.

Providing and installation of solar cateye produced from an engineered polymer selected for superior impact resistance and weather-ability. The top of the solar stud should be transparent for solar charging and light output in active mode. The base of the body shall be yellow or neutral white as approved by Engineer In-charge.
