Supplying and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic sensor paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Govt Lab / Govt Engineering Collage / CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the Accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 4. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work. 5. Payment to contractor in RAR and Final bill shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor . During testing any variation occurred in bitumen contents retesting shall be got carried out by contractor at his own arrangments without any extra cost.

Material and labour for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm / Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100mm / 150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing two way (dual direction) reflective road studs (Cat eye) of polycarbonate moulded body of dimensions 100mm x 110mm x 20 mm with red / yellow /amber reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12 mm dia and 120 mm long zinc plated steel nail at the center of cat eye complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply and fixing solar road stud having 3 LED as approved by GE of colour Red/Yellow to a side (total 6 Nos.) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125mm x 125mm or 120mm x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy, LEDs solar cells battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top system, workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8 to 10 Hrs. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge. Supply & Fixing Convex Mirror of 1000mm dia made from long life poly carbonate with strong impact resistant and shattler proof fitted with a sun shield or protective hood of colour as approved by GE and 75 mm dia Mild Steel pipe duly painted of approved colour of suitable length as directed including fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 450mm x 450mm x 600mm deep including excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed by Eng-in-Charge. Note: The rate of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with size of block 450mm x 450mm x 600mm deep and excavatio & earth work in any strata is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Supply and fixing ABS plastic Speed breaker/ bump in parabolic convex as approved by GE shape of size 350mm x 250mm x 50 mm thick , heavy duty, highly resistant to severe traffic impacts and harsh weather conditions, dovetail interlocking sub units, jointed and fixed to make the bump perfectly uniform, bump made out of precoloured material (black/ yellow) and UV stabilizer to keep them perfectly colourful, studded with 02 Nos reflectors on either side to make it clearly visible motorists during night hours, fixing with 06 Nos metalic bolts in each and fixing the same on road with 12 mm dia 120 mm long zinc plated steel bolts and adhesive complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Supply & Fixing Dual Direction Delineator ,made out of 16 gauge Mild Steel rectangular pipe of size 25mm x 68mm and 600mm long, Mild Steel pipe shall be stove enamelled and baked to 120 degree celcius or powder coated, head made out of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100mm x 125mm with additional 2 reflective strips of 25mm wide and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: The rate of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm and excavation and earth work in any strata is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
