Supplying and laying Premix Bituminous concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic sensor paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and directed. NOTES : 1. The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Govt Lab / Govt Engineering Collage / CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the Accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/per kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. 2. Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 3. After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. 4. Contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorporation of the same in the work. 5. Payment to contractor in RAR and Final bill shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and the cost is deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor . During testing any variation occurred in bitumen contents retesting shall be got carried out by contractor at his own arrangments without any extra cost.

Material and labour for 2.5mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm / Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100mm / 150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing ABS plastic Speed breaker/ bump in parabolic convex as approved by GE shape of size 350mm x 250mm x 50 mm thick , heavy duty, highly resistant to severe traffic impacts and harsh weather conditions, dovetail interlocking sub units, jointed and fixed to make the bump perfectly uniform, bump made out of precoloured material (black/ yellow) and UV stabilizer to keep them perfectly colourful, studded with 02 Nos reflectors on either side to make it clearly visible motorists during night hours, fixing with 06 Nos metalic bolts in each and fixing the same on road with 12 mm dia 120 mm long zinc plated steel bolts and adhesive complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc from black top surface , Applying evenly a premix /tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5.0 Kg per Ten Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & Fixing Dual Direction Delineator ,made out of 16 gauge Mild Steel rectangular pipe of size 25mm x 68mm and 600mm long, Mild Steel pipe shall be stove enamelled and baked to 120 degree celcius or powder coated, head made out of ABS plastic rectangular moulded with flat face provided with high intensity prismatic reflector of colour (white/yellow/red) of size 100mm x 125mm with additional 2 reflective strips of 25mm wide and fixing in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm deep including excavation and earth work in any strata complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note: The rate of cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with size of block 300mm x 300mm x 350mm and excavation and earth work in any strata is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Supply and fixing solar road stud having 3 LED as approved by GE of colour Red/Yellow to a side (total 6 Nos.) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125mm x 125mm or 120mm x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length for fixing with epoxy, LEDs solar cells battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top system, workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8 to 10 Hrs. complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-charge. Material and labour for Repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 kg / X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exc. 30mm thick, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note as per MORTH Specification: (i) Loose material and standing water shall be brushed from the area to be repaired. (ii) Potholes shall be cut to vertical sides and deepened to reach sound material . (iii) Fill the patch with the granular mix in layers of about 75mm at a time. Each layer shall be compacted with hand rammers or with small vibratory compactors. The patch shall be compacted to the correct shape. (iv)100% quantity of Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work.
