For and on behalf of the Food Corporation of India online bids are invited from interested, eligible bidders for hiring of taxi service provider on daily and monthly basis for FCI, D.O. Patiala. 2. No manual bids shall be accepted. The agreement will be for a period of Two Years from the date of acceptance letter of FCI (further extendable upto 03 months with the approval of Area Manager, if required). 3. Bidders are advised to follow the instructions provided in the Instructions to theBidders for the e-submission of the bids online through the Central Public Procurement Portal for e-Procurement at‟. 5. Critical Dates & Time Section: Bid Publish Date 25.03.2019 (11.00 am) Last date for receiving queries from bidders 01.04.2019 (05:00pm) Last date for Response to queries by FCI 10.04.2019 (05:00pm) Bid due date (last day for submission of bid.) 15.04.2019 (05:00pm) Technical Bid- Opening date & Time 16.04.2019 (05.00 pm) Queries may be sent on email id- patiapb.fci@gov.inor by post at Area Manager, Food Corporation of India, District Office, Sirhind Road, Patiala-147001. 6. The last date for submission of the Bids online is 05:00pm hrs. of15.04.2019 and Technical Bids will be opened online at 05.00 pm hrs. on16.04.2019. Intending bidders/their authorized representatives may wish to be present during the opening of Technical bids. 7. Bids to remain open for acceptance up to and inclusive of 60 (Sixty) days from the date of opening of the Technical Bid. The Food Corporation of India, may, at its discretion, extend this date by 30 (Thirty) days and such extension shall be binding on the Bidders. If the date on which the Bid is open for acceptance is declared to be a holiday, the Bid shall be deemed to remain open for acceptance till next working day. 8. The prospective bidders are advised to refer to the CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal) website for any modification to the bid and the bidders shall ensure that the Tenders submitted by them shall contain such modifications, failing which the bids shall be liable to be rejected. 9. The bidders shall deposit alongwith the Technical Bid through RTGS/ NEFT/ ELECTRONIC MODE an amount of Rs. 50000/-(RupeesFifty Thousand only)towards Earnest Money and INR 590/- (Rupees Five hundred ninety only) towardstender fee in the Food Corporation of India, District Office , Patiala CC Account No.10566704395, IFS CODE No. SBIN0001637 and the scanned copy/ soft copy ofRTGS/ NEFT/ ELECTRONIC MODE acknowledgment of such deposit shall be uploaded along with the Technical Bid. 10. In case of Bank holiday on the last date/ time of bid, then bidder shall ensure that banking transactions are completed in advanceand no request for extending the dateon account of this shall be entertained. The decision of FCI in this case shall be final and binding on the bidders. 11. Food Corporation of India reserves the right to cancel the tender enquiry at any stage without assigning any reason.
