The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed similar works. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should also have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years, with specific requirements including: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated price of the particular works, - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated price of the particular works, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated price of the particular works. The bidder must provide details of their experience in similar works, including the value of the total contract, date of award, and date of completion. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by enhancing the value of executed works at a simple rate of 8% per annum. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum cash investment of up to 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work, and they should have access to a line of credit and other financial resources facilities (10% of the contract value).
