The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor. The experience can be in the bidder's own country or in other countries. For works above Rs. 10.00 Crores, the bidder should have completed similar works satisfactorily in the last five years. The similar works should be of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. The bidder should also have experience as a prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the subcontract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The values and percentages mentioned are: - 80% of the estimated cost of work for one similar work - 50% of the estimated cost of work for two similar works - 40% of the estimated cost of work for three similar works - 40% of the estimated cost of work for minimum annual financial turnover.
