The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor, with specific requirements such as: - completion of one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost, - or two similar works of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - or three similar works of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost. Additionally, experience as a subcontractor is also considered, where the subcontract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should provide details of their experience in similar works, including the name of the work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion, along with a performance certificate from the authority for whom the work was completed. For works up to Rs.5.00 Crores, the bidder should have sufficient experience in similar nature of works on production of documentary proof. The value and percentage of similar works completed are specified as 80%, 50%, and 40% of the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should also provide information on the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last three years, updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB.
