Raking out joints and removing existing sealing compound, all loose foreign material from the Construction Dummy , Raking out joints and removing existing sealing compound, all loose & foreign material from the Construction/Dummy joints of size 8mm to 15mm width and 30mm depth in existing concrete pavements, cleaning the surfaces with wire/coir brushes and then cleaning the surfaces with compressed air by using compressor, priming the surfaces with primer 0.057 ltr per ten running metre (minimum) of same manufacture as that of sealing compound for Dummy joints and filling the joints with sealing compound grade B 2.75 Kg per ten Running Metre (minimum), confirming to IS1834/1984, all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Notes. (i) Raked out materials shall be removed to location at a distance exc 5Km from the starting point as directed by Engineer in charge. (ii) To maintain proper record of PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE for three years, each slab/panel of joint filling shall be numbered with two to five stenciled letters with indigo paint.

Make DENSON/NGI or equivalent approved by the GE.

Repair replacement of existing 23 to 27 mm wide Expansion Joints in rigid pavements , Repair/replacement of (existing) 23 to 27 mm wide Expansion Joints in rigid pavements by using polyurethane joint sealent (minimum depth 12 mm) after priming the vertical surface twice 0.075 litre (minimum) approved primer per metre and sealed flush to a level of 2 to 3 mm below the top of the adjacent pavement and provision of 30 mm dia polyurethene foam closed cell backup rod including raking out existing joints ( upto Approx 45 mm depth) and removing unserviceable polyurethane joint sealent/sealing compound of any description alongwih polyurethene foam backup road and cleaning/preparing the joint surface, complete all as specified.
