Construction of circular manholes in brick masonry with country bricks of class designation 35 in circular manholes, providing and laying 200 mm thick of cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement, four coarse sand and eight hard broken granite stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size), side walls with country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement and four sand) as shown in drawings. Cement plastering with inside and outside walls in CM 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with 20 mm thick using Sulphur Resistants Portland Cement (SRPC), providing, benching and channeling with CC 1:11/2:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size), finishing bottom 20mm thick cement plaster in C.M 1:3 (one cement and three fine sand) with neat cement using SRPC cement, providing and fixing of 560 mm dia heavy duty SFRC covers with frame made as per IS 12592-2002 (I & ii) in accordance with "CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage treatmet and relevant IS Codes". Fixing of C.I/PVC steps as shown in drawings, but excluding its cost which will be paid separately. The cost also includes the cost of curing and testing of the manholes for its water tightness. A drop in water more than 5 cm in 24 hours shall not be permitted. The rate including cost of circular SFRC cover and frame 560 mm dia, but excluding the cost of earth work excavation - 1200 mm dia and 1000 mm deep.

Extra/rebate for every additional/ reduction in depth of 0.10 m in 23 cm thick wall or part thereof over the following manhole size for circular manhole - Country Bricks - 1200 mm dia and 1000 mm deep.

Construction of circular manhole 1.40 metre internal diameter and to the depth detailed below with RCC curb in 1:11/2:3 mix (one cement, one and half sand and three HBG stone aggregate of 20 mm size) with a overall size 340 x 500 mm and shaped at bottom as shown in drawing to receive M.S. angle of size 100 x 100 x 10 mm as cutting edge, with reinforcement not less than 70 kg per cubic metre or as indicated in drawing, and with vertical rods of 12 mm diametre at 60 cm C/C, 120 cm long to bind the steining wall and curb, bottom plugging to a depth of 0.50 m with plain cemetn concrete using 1:1 1/2:3 mix (one cement one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) with walls as detailed below. Providing relieving arch over the sewer pipe wherever it passes through the walls of the manholes, fixing of CI rungs, excluding cost of CI rungs, fixing of IC/PVC steps and shown in the detailed drawing for which payment will be made extra, providng and fixing of 600 mm dia heavy duty SFRC cover with frame made IS 12592 - 2002 (i&ii) and latest revision in accordance wiht "CPHEEO Manual on Sewerage & Sewage treatment and relevent IS Codes" in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite

stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) all shown in drawing the rate includes the cost of SFRC manhole cover and with frame, centring, shuttering and reinforcement with TMT (TISCON/VIZAG/IISCO/SAIL) bars excluding the cost of earth work excavation. Plastering both inside and outside 20 mm thick with Cement Mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) and making channels in cement concrete 1:1 1/2:3 mix (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in draing or as directed by the Engineer in charge, rendered with Cement Mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand) for 20 mm thick etc complete including curing and testing the manhole for water tightness. A drop in water level more than 50 mm in 24 hours will not be permitted. For manhole 2.5 m deep with wall 23 cm thick upto 1.50 m from top and 34 cm for depth greater than 1.5 m of bricks masonry using best available country bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (one cement and four sand).

Extra/rebate for every additional/reduction in depth of 0.10 m in 34 cm thick wall for the circular manhole of 1.40 m internal dia and 2.5 m deep.

Fixing of 150 mm wide PVC encapsulated steps in the manholes with 200 x 200 x 100 mm CC block in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 (one cement, one and half sand and three hard broken granite stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size) all as shown in drawings.

Earth work excavation above water level and depositing on bank in sandy, silt or other soil, wet sand or silt, light black cotton soil or clay, sandy loam and ordinary soil for infiltration, gallery siphon or connecting pipe line including driving shoring materials as mentoned below. Removing the shoring materials and refillign with excavated earth complying with standard specification etc. complete - First depth of 2 m (using close timbering).

Earth work excavation above water level and depositing on bank in sandy, silt or other soil, wet sand or silt, light black cotton soil or clay, sandy loam and ordinary soil for infiltration, gallery siphon or connecting pipe line including driving shoring materials as mentoned below. Removing the shoring materials and refillign with excavated earth complying with standard specification etc. complete - Second depth of 2 m (using close timbering).

Providing, laying and jointing HDPE pipe PE 100 x PN 6 conforming to IS specification and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including jointing and excluding specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, endcaps etc., complete as per IS and CPWD specifcation - 200 mm dia.

Providing, laying and jointing PVC-U pipes for use in under ground drainage and sewerage system conforming (SN8) to IS specification 15328-2003 and ISI marked including transportation to the site, lowering to the trenches, laying to proper grade and alignment, testing of joints with required testing equipment, including cost of solvent cement, excluding UPVC specials such as bends, tees, threaded pieces, couplers, reducer, end caps etc, complete all as per IS and CPWD specification - 110 mm dia.

Providing and fixing in position PVC-U moulded plain coupler (Finolex / jain)(SN8) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked, including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc, complete - 110mm dia . PVC coupler (mould)

Providing and fixing in position UPVC moulded endcap (Finolex / jain)(0.6 Mpa) conforming to IS 7834 part II and ISI marked,including labour charges for jointing, jointing materials etc, complete - 110mm dia

Making connection of drain or sewer line with existing manhole including breaking into and making good the walls, floors with cement concrete 1:2:4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) cement plastered on both sides with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement and making necessary channels for the drain etc. complete. - for pipes 100 to 230 mm diameter.

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections and transporting to the embankment location with all lifts and lead upto 1000m.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - all work upto plith level - 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)
