Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as per direction of Engineer-in-charge , within a lead of 50m - all kinds of soil

Providing and construction gabian structures for erosion control, river training works and protection works with wire crates of size 2m x 1mx 0.3m each divided into 1m compartments by cross netting, made from 4 mm galvanized steel wire @ 32 kg per 10 sqm having minimum tensile strength of 300Mpa conforming to IS:280 and galvanizing coating conforming to IS:4826, woven into mesh with double twist, mesh size not exceeding 100mm x 100mm, filled with boulders with least dimension of 200mm, all loose ends to be securely tied with 4mm galvanised steel wire.

Collection and supply of stone boulders at Various weights including the charges for conveyance, pre - weighing the loaded vehicle and post - weighing the empty vehicle and placing the boulders to the required slope and section by using suitable machinery including handling and packing charges, crane charges etc., complete. The payment will be made based on weight basis. The quantity will be counter checked by way of volumes computed based on pre-levels and post-levels of the section and the volume thus computed will be arrived in weight after reducing for the corresponding voids depending on the size of stone boulders. This rate shall include the costs of formation of approach track for transportations of materials men and machinery for the placing and dumping the boulders in position for groins / sea protection wall / rock revetment as per sectional drawing and harbouring works also etc., complete. The specific gravity of stone shall be from 2.90 to 3.02.Core after deducting 30% voids. Using 5kg to 100kg
