• The overall dimension of desk cum bench will W 1710 mm × H 880 as per the drawing enclosed. • The framed structure is made of prime quality MS CR pressed section. The main supporting members (vertical and horizontal members) should have the size of size 38 × 38 ×1.2 mm. Seat and back side frames should be made of prime quality MS CR pressed section of 38 × 38 × 1.2 mm with steel butt hinge arrangements. • All the supporting members should be closed at the edges and corners by welding and grinding process. • Front panel tray should be made of prime quality of 1.219 mm (Gauge number 18) thick MS CR perforated sheet with middle and side stiffeners of MS CR tube of size 19 mm × 19 mm × 1 mm thick. • The front face must be embossed as per drawing. An MS CR tube of size 19mmx19x1mm should be provided at two sides as support between the desk and vertical member as shown in the figure. • Desktop, seat and backrest should be made of IS: 303, 19 mm thick water proofing plywood of MR grade (One side 0.6 mm thick lamination and one side balancing). • All the edges must be sealed with 2 mm thick PVC edge banding tape with hot melt glue standard by edge banding machine. The edge band must be trimmed at all the sides. • The finished plywood must be fitted with MS screw zinc plated self-tapping size diameter 4 mm × 38 mm. length from bottom. • All steel components should be welded together to form one unit. The steel members should be spray/powder coated of minimum 50-micron dry film with corrosion resistance. • The unit should be attached with plastic bushes at the bottom with neat finish. • The weight of the single should not be less than 45 kg for three-seater respectively.
