SPECIFICATIONS FOR GEL CARD CENTRIFUGE AND INCUBATOR PLACEMENT SPECIFICATONS (from item No 29 to 35) 1. The Gel card centrifuge and Incubator equipment should be placed and maintained free of cost against the purchase of Gel cards under contract agreement for one year. 2. The Gel card centrifuge and Incubator will be placed on the condition that it will be owned and maintained by the firm entering into the contract for supplying the entire immunohematology items from 29 to 35 3. Equipment to be placed in the premises of blood bank at JIPMER under a guarantee for free maintenance for the contract period. 4. Necessary inspections and calibration certificates to verify the compliance of the placed equipment for immunohematology workup 5. Necessary training will HAVE TO be given to the blood bank staff members, if needed, from time to time. 6. Supplier will place another additional equipment of the same specification and model under the same terms and conditions to cater for uninterrupted trouble free services. 7. The supplier will give an undertaking that the equipment supplied is of the latest model and version available as on date of entering into the contract. 8. The supplier should ensure that both the equipments are functioning at all times. In case of failure of any one of the instruments the downtime should not be more than 24 hours. Only under extraordinary circumstances the downtime for the equipment can be increased by a period, which should not exceed 72 hours. 9. Suppliers should quote for the all above items mentioned item no from 29 to 35. No partial quote will be entertained. If partial quote, the tender for the above items will be summarily rejected. 10. Authorized distributor certificate from the original manufacturer should be provided.
