Works Department Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar nature of projects. They should have satisfactorily executed two or three similar works, each costing 60 lakhs or more, aggregating to 200 lakhs or more, or executed one similar work costing 200 lakhs or more in any one financial year during the current or last five years. The bidder needs to provide a list of projects executed that are similar in nature to the work, along with details such as contract price, major items of work, stipulated date of commencement/completion, and actual date of completion. They also need to provide information on the value of work actually executed during the last 5 financial years. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder needs to secure a minimum of 80% marks for ownership of principal machineries/equipments. The total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years with a certificate from a chartered accountant is also required. The bidder should have completed works with a total value of at least 200 lakhs, with individual costs of each similar work being 60 lakhs. They need to furnish certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Equivalent, detailing similar nature of works during the current or last five years. The bidder is also required to provide a statement showing the value of existing commitments and ongoing works till the stipulated period of completion, and have a minimum annual turnover as per Clause No.14.
