Works Department Tender

The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar work during the last five years, with a total value of not less than 30% of the estimated cost put to tender. The similar work should be construction of a RCC framed composite building. The bidder must provide information on their prior work experience, including the name of the employer, location, contract price, major items of work, stipulated and actual completion dates, and the value of work actually executed during the last 5 financial years. The value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years should also be furnished, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. An escalation factor of 10% per year can be applied to the value of works executed in any one year during the last five years, with multiplying factors of 1.10, 1.21, 1.33, 1.46, and 1.61 for each year respectively. The quantity of individual items can be increased or reduced by up to 10%, with a maximum of 5% over the estimated cost.
