Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading into transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profile with all leads, lifts, delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5cm to 7cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm in depth including watering earth work up to OMC condition and compaction by vibrating roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all machineries, construction and maintenance of haul road, T&P, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted level section of the fill under OMC condition and earth to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and responsibility).

Watering earth work up to OMC condition and compaction by vibrating roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machinaries, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted level section of the fill under OMC condition).

Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 0.25 cm thick with cost, conveyance by manual means with all leads, lifts and delifts, cess & all other taxes as applicable to site of work including mobilization, demobilization, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grass with all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Turf to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost & Measurement will be taken after survival of grass).

Filling in Canal bed, foundation and plinth with good quality of sand laying in layers duly compacted, watering and ramming with all leads, lifts & delifts including labour, cost, carriage, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular box heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (60:40) proportion and spreading in canal bed for CNS layers not exceeding 100 mm thick with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work , watering and consolidation with P.R.R. to the required density in OMC, hire and running charges of machineries of PRR etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, Supplying and Spreading good quality sand of approved specification on compacted surfaces in canal for filter blanket and other horizontal filter zone to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria with all lead, lift & delifts including cost, carriage, labour, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Quarrying, Collecting, Supplying 20 mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintegrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in horizontal filter drains of canal to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess, taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lifts, delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Quarrying, Collecting, Supplying 40mm to 20mm downgraded hard granite chips from approved quarry of uniform colour and texture free from elongated and flaky pieces, disintegrated materials and other deleterious substances and spreading hard granite chips in filter in horizontal filter zones and filter blankets to proper thickness including surface dressing satisfying the filter criteria including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess, taxes of all materials as applicable with all leads, lifts, delifts and all other incidental charges with quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in- charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M15 for C.C work in concrete lining work with 20 mm downgraded hard granite crusher broken chips from approved quarry free from weathered skin dust and other deleterious materials including mixing in concrete mixture hoisting and laying concrete with all lead lifts and delifts and placing over scientifically approved surface for lining to the slope in panels using concrete paver finisher, compaction by vibration of concrete by mechanical means including trimming and dressing of canal slope, cutting trenches for sleeper beams, keys etc with watering and compaction of slope with hand rammers to proper profile and supplying and laying polythene film, supplying and providing approved sealing compound at joints and supplying T&P including watering and curing for specified days with cost of all materials, carriage, royalty, cess, & all other taxes as applicable etc. hire and running charges machineries dewatering by suitable means, construction of approach roads, diversion roads, diverting the water away from the structure including quality control tests etc as per the specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M15 for C.C work in concrete lining work with 20 mm downgraded hard granite crusher broken chips from approved quarry free from weathered skin dust and other deleterious materials including mixing in concrete mixture hoisting and laying concrete with all lead lifts and delifts and placing over scientifically approved surface for lining to the bed of canal with sleeper beams, key etc in panels compaction by vibration of concrete by mechanical means including trimming and dressing of canal bed cutting trenches for sleeper beams, keys etc with watering and compaction of bed with hand rammers to proper profile and supplying and laying polythene film, supplying and providing approved sealing compound at joints and supplying T&P including watering and curing for specified days with cost of all materials, carriage, royalty, cess, & all other taxes as applicable etc. hire and running charges machineries dewatering by suitable means, construction of approach roads, diversion roads, diverting the water away from the structure including quality control tests etc as per the specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, fitting & fixing pressure relief valves (PRV) in flap type design with silt-protector, rubber flap, metal weight, PVC housing pipe 160mm OD having length of 430mm (Perforated Portion-300mm). PVC strainer pipe of 90mm OD will be 300mm (Perforated portion-250mm). PVC housing pipe will have holes of 12mm and PVC strainer pipe will have holes of 10mm. One end cap at one end will be povided in longitudinal drains, cross drains and in pockets of canal bed at specified locations to release hydrostatic pressures as per approved drawings, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost of labour, labour cess, carriage etc complete.

Providing & fixing of P.V.C. water stop for drainage gallery as per approved design including fixing in proper alignment and joining with araldite etc. including cost of all materials, labour, T & P, conveyance, cess and all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, supplying 160mm OD PVC S/S (ISI Type-A) pipe & labour for drilling hole of 12mm dia (minimum 60 perforation per meter length of pipe) and laying in proper position of longitudinal drain including cost of all materials, transportation and labour cess, T&P etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Filling bitumen, cement & Jute fibre in expansion joints including cost of materials, bitumen & cement proportion (3:1) including cleaning before pouring 12 mm to 25 mm & 15cm depth etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing 5 H.P. pump with diesel engine for dewatering including cost of diesel & wages of pump operator etc. including T&P, carriage, cess, all other taxes as applicable etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments with approved quality of hard granite stones of 30 cm size and above to required shape with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, carriage, royalty, cess & all other taxes as applicable etc. of stone, labour for preparation of surface for packing, dewatering if required and all other incidental charges etc. complete as per specifications and direction of the Engineer-in- Charge.
