Excavation of canal / drain by mechanical means in DI rock, laterite rock and soft rock not requiring blasting, removable by pick-axe and crow bars, in both wet and dry condition, including cost of all incidental charges etc. and depositing the excavated materials either in spoil bank or in any other specified space, as directed, by mechanical means, including cost of all leads, lifts and de-lifts etc. including dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps and accessories, cofferdams, dressing and levelling the bed and sides to design section, with all cost for site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation and all taxes, royalties,cess, T&P etc. complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished level section)

Earthwork in canal embankments including specified proud for all height using approved earth excavated by mechanical means from borrow area (to be arranged by the contractor observing all statutory acts / rules such as PESA/OMMC Rule -2004 etc.) including cost of loading into and transportation by mechanical means, unloading the earth in canal embankments/ canal beds on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface with cost of all leads, lifts, de-lifts, handling and re-handling charges etc., spreading and levelling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5cm. in depth, removing the undesirable materials, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size, and make it ready for watering and compaction with vibratory roller as per the canal section but excluding the cost of spreading , watering and compaction and including the cost of lighting borrow areas, construction of approach roads to borrow areas, diversion roads, site illuminations, mobilisation, demobilisation, royalties, taxes,cess, T&P and all other cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement of earthfill to be taken on finished compacted level section under OMC condition)

Cost of royalty and cess of useful excavated earth from cutting zones to be carried and utilised in filling reaches, including spreading & levelling the earth in layers and removal of the undesirable materials, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size, to make ready for watering and compaction with Vibratory Roller but excluding watering and compaction, etc. complete, as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Fine dressing and turfing the slopes of the canal embankments with approved quality of compact dub grass including cost of collection and supplying the same from the approved site, loading, unloading, conveyance charges, royalty,cess, all other taxes on all materials, all leads, lifts, and de-lifts, and as per approved design, drawing, specification, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including cost of mobilisation, demobilisation charges and all incidental charges to complete the item of work, with cost of supplying all machineries and equipments, their running and maintenance charges, all materials, labour required for the work, supervision charges, cost of watering and cost of making all arrangements for survival of the turf till its full growth, etc. complete in all respect. (Measurement will be taken after full survival of the growth of grass)

Excavation of foundation of structures by manual/ mechanical means in all kinds of soil ( This shall include ordinary soil, sand, silt, slushy soil, hard soil, gravelly soil, stoney earth mixed with gravels, pebbles, stone boulder not exceeding 0.014cum by volume, moorum, etc.) in both wet and dry condition, including cost of dewatering of foundation, coffer dam, dressing, levelling the foundation bed and sides as per drawing and specification, all leads, lifts, de-lifts etc, depositing the useful approved excavated earth in the canal embankments in filling section in layers not exceeding 22.5cm. in depth, breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm size and depositing the un-useful surplus materials in spoil banks or on any other specified space with proper section as directed, by manual/mechanical means, with cost of all leads, lifts, de-lifts, loading and unloading, handling and re-handling, with all cost for site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, diversion road, and all taxes, royalties,cess, T&P etc. complete, with all cost incidental to the work as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M-15 grade with 40mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite aggregates, sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the specification, mixing by concrete mixer, laying manually in approved surface, with cost of all materials, leads, lifts, de-lifts, vibrating concrete by mechanical means, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means, supervision charges, construction and dismantling of gangways, scaffoldings and chute, conveyance, royalty and taxes of all materials, labour,cess, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, including dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps, all accessories and hire and running charges of machineries required for the work as per approved drawings and specifications, with all cost incidental to the work, etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Reinforced Cement Concrete/ C.C. confirming to M-25 grade in approved surface with 20mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite aggregates, sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the specification, mixing by concrete mixer, with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts , de-lifts, vibrating concrete by mechanical means, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means, supervision charges, construction and dismantling of gangways, scaffoldings and chute, conveyance, royalty and taxes of all materials but excluding the cost of steel reinforcement, including cost of labour,cess, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps, accessories and hire and running charges of all machineries required for the work as per approved drawings and specifications, with all cost incidental to the work, etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying Cement concrete M-15 grade with 20mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite aggregates, sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the specification, mixing by concrete mixer, laying manually in canal lining to the bed and slopes of canal with sleeper beams, keys etc. in panels, with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts and de-lifts, with proper compaction of the concrete, supplying T&P, curing for specified days by suitable means, supervision charges with cost of construction and dismantling of gangways, scaffoldings and chute, conveyance, royalty and taxes of all materials, labour,cess, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, including dewatering with all cost and running charges of pumps and accessories and hire and running charges of machineries required for the work as per approved drawings and specifications, with all cost incidental to the work, etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work for concrete in canal structures with F1 finish using steel shutter plates of approved specification for all surfaces including supply of shutter plates and all other materials, T & P, labour and transportation of shuttering materials by mechanical/ manual means and dismantling of forms and finishing the surface complete with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts, de-lifts, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, and all taxes, royalties, cess etc. including all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work for concrete in canal structures with F2 finish using steel shutter plates of approved specification for all surfaces including supply of shutter plates and all other materials, T & P, labour and transportation of shuttering materials by mechanical/ manual means and dismantling of forms and finishing the surface complete with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts, de-lifts, diversion road, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, and all taxes, royalties, cess etc. including all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying, straightening the coiled or bent up MS/HYSD bars, cutting, bending, and placing the grills in position with ties, chairs, spacers and binding the grills in position with binding wires 18 to 20 gauge, lapping and splicing, welding the joints wherever necessary for RCC works, as per approved designs and drawings and technical specification, with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts, de-lifts, carriage, royalty and taxes of all materials and labour, cess etc. with cost of diversion roads, site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, etc. complete with all cost incidental to the work as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge. ( Weight of binding wire shall not be considered for payment in any shape at all)

Providing and laying moorum and sand admixture (60% Moorum and 40% Sand) as Cohesive Non-sweling Soil (CNS) in layers not exceeding 100mm watering and compacting to the required density in O.M.C. with HRR with cost of all materials, all leads, lifts, de-lifts, carriage, royalty and taxes of all materials , labour, cess and hire & running charges of machinaries including trimming and dressing the bed & slope of canal for lining work etc. complete as per the drawing, design, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, providing and laying Rough Stone dry packing in aprons and revetments, slopes of canal embankments with hard granite stones of approved quality of size not less than 0.03 cum. in volume, including cost of all materials, transportation by mechanical/ manual means, filling interstices with quarried, broken stone, spalls, all leads, lifts, de-lifts, loading, unloading, handling, re-handling charges , carriage, royalty, taxes of all materials, labour,cess, including cost for dressing of earthwork, bed and slopes, trimming to the required profile and grade, dewatering , etc. complete with all cost for site illumination, mobilisation, demobilisation, diversion road, T&P and all cost incidental to the work as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes along with filters in masonry/concrete abutments, wing wall/return wall with 90mm dia PVC pipe extending through the fullwidth of the structure with slope of IV:20H towards drawing face complete and providing metal spall backing in the rear of weep holes with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, carriage, royalty and taxes of all material, labour,cess etc. complete as per drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position 16 mm thick bitumen filler boards of approved design and confirming to ISI Specifications for construction / movement joints with fitting and fixing in proper allignment with all leads, lifts, delifts etc. including cost, carriage and taxes of all materials,labour, cess etc. complete as per the drawing, design, specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing & laying water proofs with polymeric bituminous membrance (plastic felt) of 2.25kg/sqm and 2mm thick consisting of layers having center core of 20 microns thermoplastic high molecular high density polythylene( H.M.H.D.P.E. ) film of grade 2504 including priming the surface with bituminous primer @ 0.3kg/sqm providing a cost of hot blown bitumen of 1.32 kg/sqm, applying and laying plastic felt membrance with 10 cm overlap adhered to blown bitumen of 85/25 or 90/15 grade and covered with a layer of hot blown bitumen at 1.2 kg/ sqm with cost of all materials, labour, cess and all other incidental works etc complete.and as per drawing, specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Providing P.V.C water stopper for contraction & construction joint for CD works as per approved design including fixing in proper allignment and joining with araldite etc. including cost of P.V.C water stop as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying RCC Hume pipes (NP3) of 150mm dia in position on properly prepared approved surface including cost, carriage, royalty and taxes of hume pipes and cost of labour etc complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
