Earth work in excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means, loading the earth in to transporting vehicle and transportation of the same to the filling zone with average lead of 5.00 K.M. and unloading the soil, breaking the clods, laying, spreading & leveling to the required section in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm thick on the properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including base stripping of borrow area, clearing all roots, vegetations & other objectionable materials from the earth including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area with mobilisation & demobilisation of men & materials, hire & running charges of all machineries/tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST), royalty, cess etc; all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken and payment will be made on level section)

Watering earth work up to O.M.C. condition and compaction by sheep foot rollers & dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm thick to the required density at all height including cost & conveyance of water, mobilisation & demobilisation of men & materials, hire & running charges of all machineries, taxes (Excluding GST), cess etc; all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on level section on the finished compacted section of the fill under O.M.C. condition.)

Earth work in excavation of foundation in hard and gravelly soil including dressing and levelling the bed, breaking the clods to maximum 5 cm to 7 cm size and laying the excavated materials on the ear- marked place in layers not exceeding 300 mm in depth, rehandling of the earth, if requitred, with all lead, lifts & delifts, labour charges, cess, tools & plants, taxes (Excluding GST) etc; all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
