Earth work in excavation in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading into the transportation vehicles and unloading from transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm., laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm including removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debries from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work, watering and compaction with all types of compacts equipments under OMC conditions to attain minimum proctor dry density of 95.00% for all heights of banks and slopes with required quality control test including construction, maintenance, watering, dewatering and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries and all incidental charges required for the completion of work, complete in all respect including cost of royalty with labour cess as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement shall be taken on finished compacted section .Borrow area is to be arranged by the agency at his cost and responsibility)

Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 0.25 cm thick with cost, conveyance by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts, cess including mobilisation, demobilisation, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grass with all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken after survival of grass).

Quarrying, collecting, supplying and stacking of good quality of moorum and sand in regular box heap size of 1.50m X 1.50m X 0.50m to be measured as one cum and admixing moorum and sand in (70 : 30) proportion and laying in sub-base of road in layers not exceeding 100 mm thick with all leads , lifts and delifts including cost,conveyance, royalty, cess etc. including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, watering and compacting to required density in OMC with P.R.R., hire and running charges of machineries etc.complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
