Earth work in excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow area free from logs, stumps, roots or any other ingredients likely to deteriorate or effect the stability of bed, bank by mechanical means loading into & transportation by mechanical means and unloading soil within 5 km lead on properly prepared & scientifically approved surface free from weeds, roots and shrub jungles, spreading & leveling the earth in 22.5 cm layers to make the fill ready for watering and compaction to 95% dry density under OMC condition and compacting with sheep foot rollers or any approved type of equipment approved by Engineer-in-charge in embankment / flood banks of all heights including cost of compaction & all materials, royalty, T&P, cost of quality control tests, mobilisation & demobilisation, supplying, operation, maintenance of all machineries, equipments, materials and labour, cess, taxes of all materials excluding GST required for the work, including supervision charges, cost of cutting and trimming the extra fill in the slopes of the flood banks/river banks to design section, construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul roads, borrow areas and cost of related diversion arrangement for diversion of flow during working seasons and removal and disposal of the same after completion of the work etc. complete as per design, drawing, and specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge including compaction charges (Measurement is to be taken on the finished level section after compaction ).

Providing dry rubble rock toe with blasted and quarried hard stones of size 30 cm and above from approved quarry free from weathered skin and any other deleterious materials including dumping on slopes, filling interstices with small stones and wedged and packing surface to proper line and level including fixing by wave breaker etc complete with all cost, conveyance, royalty, additional charges, DMF, EMF & taxes on all materials and machineries excluding GST but including quality control charges & cess with all leads, lifts and delifts and all labour required for the work etc. complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge. (Measurement is to be taken on the finished level section and no deduction towards voids will be made).

Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments to designed thickness and slope using 15cm to 30cm size hard stone of approved quality from approved quarry free from weathered skin and any other deleterious materials including filling the interstices with small stones, spalls etc and wedging with hammer and placing the surface to proper line and level, fixing key stones including dewatering, if any with all cost, conveyance, royalty, additional charges, DMF, EMF & taxes on all materials and machineries excluding GST but including quality control charges & cess with all leads, lifts and delifts and all labour required for the work etc. complete as per approved drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Fine dressing of earth work in slopes including filling of rain cuts and slips with selected earth duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing the surface with compact dub grass sods 8cm to 10cm thick including collection & supplying the same, loading, unloading and coveyance charges, cess and other taxes of all materials excluding GST with all leads, lifts and delifts including laying and trimming to form a level and compact surface in line with the slopes and grade of the earth embankment section of river including watering until the green growth of grass including mobilisation and demobilisation complete as per design, drawing and specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (Measurement will be taken after full survival of turf)
