Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees in area of light jungles upto 300mm girth, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier, disposal of unserviceable materials and debris away from the work site and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned up including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm in thickness with all leads, lifts and delifts, all labour charges, T&P, B & O.C. Workers Welfare Cess etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Earth work in excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow area free from logs, stumps, roots or any other ingredients likely to deteriorate or effect the stability of bed, bank by mechanical means loading into & transportation by mechanical means and unloading soil with all leads & lifts on properly prepared & scientifically approved surface free from weeds, roots and shrub jungles ,including dug belling for demarcation purpose , spreading & leveling the earth in 22.5 cm layers to make the fill ready for watering and compaction to 95% proctor density under OMC condition) with sheep foot rollers and dozer, in flood bank of all heights including cost of clearing and grubbing jungles covered with plants/bushes less than 30cm girth and uprooting stumps and including cost of all materials T&P, with all royalties cess & other taxes, etc. cost of quality control tests, mobilisation & demobilisation, supplying, operation, maintenance of all machineries, equipments, materials and labour, cess required for the work including supervision charges, cost of cutting and trimming the extra fill in the slopes of the canal embankment/flood bank to design section, construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul roads, borrow areas and cost of related diversion arrangement for diversion of flow during working seasons and removal and disposal of the same after completion of the work etc. complete but excluding GST as per design, drawing, and specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge excluding compaction charges (Measurement is to be taken on the finished level section & payment will be made after compaction).

Providing, supplying and Conveying from stacks and admixing moorum and sand of approved quality, in proportion 70 : 30 or any other proportion approved by the Engineer-in-charge as per test results and laying sub-base in road surface in layers not exceeding 22.5cm including watering and compaction to the required density in O.M.C. with Vibratory Roller with all leads, lifts & delifts, all labour charges, T&P, hire and running charges of all machineries including cost, conveyance and royalty EMF, DMF & Additional Charges taxes etc. of all materials, B & O.C. Workers Welfare Cess etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
