The class of contractor eligible to bid or participate in this tender is “B” Class & “A” Class.

The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid having value and formulas is: - The bidder should quote a definite percentage up to two decimal points. - The rates should be for finished items of work unless otherwise mentioned in the tender schedule. - The bidder shall download the BOQ in MS Excel format and fill in the rates in figures at the appropriate locations. - The total amounts shall be calculated automatically and shall be visible to the bidder. - In case of item rate tender, bidders shall fill in their rates other than zero value in the specified cells. - In the percentage rate tender, the bidder quoting zero percentage is valid and will be taken at par with the estimated rate of the work put to tender. Formulas: - The total amounts shall be calculated automatically in the BOQ Excel sheet. - The bidder shall not change or modify the format of the Excel sheet in any form. Value: - The estimated cost is excluding GST. - The rate of item basing on which estimate cost has been derived are excluding GST or different components to arrive such rates. - 2% (Two percent) of the amount put to tender as bid security is required for bidders desirous to hire machineries or equipments from outside the State. Additionally, the bid capacity required includes the following formulas for price adjustment: 1. Adjustment of Other Materials Component: VM = 0.85 x Pm/100 x R x (M- M0)/M0 2. Adjustment for Cement Component: Vc = 0.85 x Pc/100 x R x (C1-C0)/ C0 3. For Cement Component: Vc = 0.85 x Pc/100 x R x (C1-C0)/ C0 4. For Steel Component: Vs = 0.85 x Ps/100 x R x (S1-S0)/ S0 5. For Bitumen Component: Vb = 0.85 x Pb/100 x R x (B1-B0)/ B0 The bid capacity also includes the requirement for the bidder to have a certain financial capacity and to provide a certificate of financial soundness from a bank. The bid security payable along with the bid is 1% of the estimated contract value (ECV). The bid capacity required also includes the following formulas for additional performance security: i. Below 5%, No Additional Performance Security ii. From 5% and above and below 10%, 50% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount) iii. From 10% and above, 150% of (Difference between estimated cost put to tender and Bid Amount)
