Earth work in slushy soil (in water upto 0.6m depth requiring the aid of pans and vessels) with all leads, lifts, tools & plants, labour, all taxes required for the work including supervision charges, cost of mobilisation and demobilisation with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow areas by mechanical means including stripping of borrow area and clearing of all trees, stumps, roots, bushes rubbish, humus and other objectionable materials outside the designated borrow area for bringing earth as required for the work including cost of construction and maintenance of haul roads and approach roads from the borrow area to work site including watering if required in borrow area loading and transporting the excavated materials by mechanical means and laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface having 0.6m to 0.90m extra width on both side of the embankment beyond design section of bank of canal in filling reaches and levelling the earth in 22.5cm layer by manual labour or by mechanical means including rehandling the soil if required (to make the fill ready for watering and compaction) to proper shape & size with 3 Km. leads, all lifts, delifts and cost of dewatering if any cost of all materials all taxes on materials including the cost of mobilisation and demobilisation supplying operation maintenance of all machineries equipments and labour required for the work inclusive of supervision charges complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete in all respect(payment will be made on finish design section, contractor has to arrange borrow earth at his own cost).

Fine dressing and turfing the canal embankment, slopes with approved quality of copacted dub grass including collection and supplying the same from approved site including loading, unloading, conveyance charge, royality and all other taxes, labour cess with all leads, lifts & delifts and specification including cost of mobilisation, demobilisation, supplying all machineries, equipments, materias. And labour required for the work supervision charges, labour cess including cost of watering and making arrangements till survival of grass to its full growth with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Excavation of foundation for structure work by Mechanically means in AKS including sand, silt, loam, clay & mud stiff and hard clay with all leads, lifts and delifts including shoring, shuttering, proping bullah, pilling, including cost of dewatering drainage arrangement and slush removal if required & ramming the foundation and removing stumps and roots of trees including stacking the excavated materials away from the work site including back filling the sides of foundation trenches with useable earth in layers not exceeding 150mm thick including ramming manually or mechanically fully compacted as per the drawings, designs and specifications, including cost of mobilization, demobilisations, supply or all equipments, materials, labour ,tools required for the work, supervision charges, all taxes etc. with all incidental charges to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurment and payment will be made on theoretical design and level section)

Collecting, supplying and spreading of coarse clean sand of approved specification with all cost, carriage, royalty, all taxes, cess etc. and all other charges in filter drain on bed & slope of canal / foundation of structures to proper line & level using removable sheet metal separators up to design height watering & ramming to proper compaction including hire charges of machineries , site illumination, mobilization, demobilization , construction of coffer dam ,approach and diversion road with all leads lifts,delifts, T&P etc. complete as directed by the Engineer - in -Charge.

Supplying, collecting, spreading and labour for laying good quality graded moorum(50%) and sand (50%) on canal slope (as CNS layer) in layers not exceeding 150mm, watering & compacting to the required density in OMC by manual or mechanical means including cost, conveyance, royalty , taxes etc.and all other labour charges ,hire charges of machinaries etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying cement concrete of grade M 15 with 20 mm. down graded granite coarse aggregate for concrete lining(cast-in-situ) to the bed and slopes of canal with sleeper beams, keys etc. in pannels including supply of all materials labour and machineries compacting with plate vibrator or manually and finishing the concrete surface with concrete paver including trimming and dressing of canal bed and slopes including cutting trenches for sleeper beam, keys and drainage etc including watering and compaction of slopes and bed with hand rammers to proper profile complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge (For Distributary longitudinal / transverse beam only and for Minor & Sub-Minor).

Providing, straightening, cutting, bending, binding and tying the grills and placing in position the reinforcement including lapping or welding where necessary, including cost, carriage and taxes of tested, reinforcing bars, binding wires with all leads, lifts and delifts, cost of all labour, including mobiliseltion and demobilisation, supplying, running and maintenance of all machineries and equipments necessary for the work with all incidental charges, taxes, labour cess including cost of lap bars, chairs etc. to complete the item of work as per approved designs, drawing and specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Cement Concrete (PCC) M 15 using 40mm & down graded size hard granite crusher broken stone aggregates for Toe wall from approved quarry free from weargered skin surface dust & any other deleterious materials of approved grading including supply of clean sharp sand of approved quality in canal structure as per approved design., drawings and specifications with all leads, lift and delifts, including cost of carriage, royalty, screening and washing etc. of all materials, dewatering mixing & vibrating by mechanical means including supply of all tools and plants labour with cost, carriage of water, curing and construction & removal of Cofferdam and gangway if required & supervision charges including mobilisation & demobilisation with all incidental charges, taxes, labour cess to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Plain Cement concrete M-15 using 20 mm. and down graded size hard granite crusher broken stone aggregate from approved quarry free from weathered skin surface, dust & any other deleterious materials of approved grading, including supply of clean sharp and of approved quality in canal structure as per approved design, drawings and specification with all leads, lifts and delifts, including cost, carriage, royaltiesand taxes of all materials, screening & washing etc. of all materials, dewatering mixing & vibrating by mechanical means including supply of all tools and plants, labour with cost of carriage of water curing and construction & removal of Coffer dam and gangway if required & supervision charges including mobilisation & demobilisation & with all incidental charges, taxes, labour cess to complete the item of work as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

From work for concrete in canal structure with F2 finish using steel shutter plates of approved specification for surface not prominently or permanently exposed to public views, including cost, conveyance, T & P, labour and taxes of all materials with all leads, lifts & delifts & dismantling & finishing after 21 days including mobilisation, demobilisations with incidental charges, labour cess to complete the items of work as per drawing, design & specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing rigid shuttering with the box type steel shuttering plates of approved specification for all surface including supply of shutter plate and all other materials, tools and plants, labour and transportation of shuttering materials by mechanical or manual means and dismantling and finishing complete with cost for mobilisation and de-mobilisation, coffer dam and maintainance of diversion road, approach road and site illumination and all taxes etc. including all cost incidental to the work as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge .

Providing weep holes in abutment and wing walls/return wall with 90 mm. dia UPVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing force as per approved design, drawing and specifications including metal spall backing in rear complete including centering & shuttering with cost, carriage, royalty, taxes, labour cess, T & P, labour & supervision charges with all leads, lifts and delifts etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling in foundation trenches with usable quality of earth available from foundation excavation in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm. thick including watering, ramming manually or mechanically fully compacted with all leads, lifts and delifts, T&P, all taxes, labour cess, supervision charges as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
