Excavation of any approved type of soil free from all roots waste materials kankars in approved borrow area by manual labour or by mechanical means or by both loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the earth with all leads and lifts on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including spreading and removing on desirable materials and leveling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make ready for watering and compaction with sheep foot rollers and dozers , but excluding cost of watering and compaction in dam and dyke for all heights measured above the unstripped average ground level including construction & maintenance of coffer dam as and where required and construction and maintenance, watering and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including jungle clearance, and stripping of borrow area including trimming the extra partially compacted earth beyond the design section etc.complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.(Measurement of the fill will be taken on finished compacted section under OMC condition.)

Filling in foundation and plinth with coarse sand of approved quality to all depth and with all leads and lift including watering and ramming including cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials with making arrangement for carriage of water etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Cement concrete M 15 grade with crushed granite 20mm downgraded coarse aggregate of approved quality mixing by concrete mixer including hoisting, lowering & laying concrete in position to proper slope and level & compacting by vibrator in layers not exceeding 0.15m depth & finishing the exposed surface smooth including watering, curing for required period including cost, conveyance, royalty & other taxes of all materials labour T & P materials required for this item including hire and running charges of machineries complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing rigid shuttering with the box type steel shuttering plates with keys for immediate construction joints for concrete works including supply oif ties supports rigidly fixed and removal including making good to the damaged surface where necessary with scaffolding gangway etc and cost and conveyance of materials, labour, T&P, labour cess etc. complete in all respect as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge

Rough stone dry packing in aprons & revetments to all heights & thickness using hard stones 30cm & above size of approved quality free from weathered skin including filling the interstices including cost of materials, labour & T & P materials required for this work,royalty etc complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Fine dressing & turfing to the slopes of the dam , dyke & canal embankment with approved quality of compacted dub grass including collection of turf, conveyance toi site with all leads & lifts including periodical watering survival oif turf to its full growth and supply of all labour, T&P materials and labour cess required for the work etc. complete as directed by the Engineer in-charge (Measurement is to be taken after full survival of turf on finished level section).

Collecting, supplying , spreading good quality moorom with cost, conveyance labour, labour cess T&P royalty required for the work including watering compaction by suitable means as specified etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
