Triangular or square section trench cutting of 0.15m. Trench cutting for alignment and demarcation purpose of the belling 10 cm to 15 cm as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil including stoney earth, gravel moorum etc. inter-spread with boulder up to 1/2 cum size in canal with all leads, lifts including trimming of slope and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site, as per the specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge with an initial lead of 3 Km. from the place of excavation complete.

Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical/manual means in D.I. rock latrite and soft rock not requiring, blasting interspread with boulder up to 1/2 cum size with all lifts & delifts including trimming of slope and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site all leads including dewetering if necessary and making necessary diversion arrangement to divert non-monsoon flow in the river but excluding cost of coffer dam including mobilization, demobilization of man, materials and machinery etc. and providing ilumination as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation of medium hard rock in foundation & other deep cutting with mechanical drilling & appropriate blasting with all lifts & delifts including trimming the bed and slope to design finished section including dewatering, loading into and transportation by mechanical/manual with all leads and lifts, depositing excavated materials if necessary and making necessary arrangements to divert non-monsoon flow in the river but excluding cost of coffer dam and including mobilization, demobilization of men, materials and machinery etc. and providing ilumination as required of approach road etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in any approved type of soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means, loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading soil within 4 km. on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including spreading and levelling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make the fill ready for watering and compaction with a sheep foot roller and dozers and excluding watering and compaction in dams and dykes for all heights including construction, maintenance, watering and lighting etc. of haul roads and borrow areas complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in hard compacted, partially compacted earth in construction of earth dam or dykes as per approved section and specification for excavation of V.C. u/s and d/s slope for trimming the extra fill with all leads, lifts and delifts including dressing and levelling the sides of the excavated earth over the properly prepared and scientifically approved surface in 22.50cm thick layers by means of manual labour manual / mechanical means and breaking the clods to 5cm to 7cm size and making ready for watering, rolling under OMC condition with sheep foot roller and dozer and tamping and cleaning where required as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including cost of all materials, T&P, labour etc. complete with mechanical means of 1 km. lead.

Watering earth work upto OMC condition and compaction by vibrobatory roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm to required density including hire and running charges of all the machineries complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and filling sand of approved specification in vertical chimny to proper line & level using removable sheet metal separators upto designed height of filter chimny within initial lead lead as directed by the Engineer-incharge.

Supplying and spreading sand of approved specification on compacted surfaces of earth dam or dykes for filter blanket and other horizontal filter zone to proper thickness including surface dressing within initial lead complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and spreading sand of approved specification for filter in rock toe riprap and filter drains in earth dam and dyke to proper slope and level within an initial lead as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and spreading granite metal in filter in proper slope and level using 40mm & down graded crusher broken hard granite aggregate of approved quality and texture and free from weathered skin and deleterious materials including cost, conveyance, royalty and all other taxes including loading, unloading, conveyance of materials and all lifts and delifts for bottom and inside slope of rock toe, transaction d/s toe drain u/s toe trench of duke and below u/s riprap and spreading graded aggregate to proper profile on properly prepared surface including with due shuttering and scientifically approved as per drawing specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge including supply of all materials equipments materials T&P, labour and supervision charges etc. complete. (Measurement will be taken on finished level section).

Providing dry rubble rock toe with blasted and quarried granite boulders of sizes 30cm of approved quality hard granite blasted stone from approved quarry which are of dense sound abrasion resistance and of uniform colour, texture and free from weathered skin, crack, seams etc. weight not less than 75 kg. Volume and less than 0.035 cum. which ever is more including loading, unloading, cost, conveyance, royalty and all other taxes with lead and all lifts and delifts for u/s riprap fixing driving rock of regular approved size and filling into the interstices to wedge stone in plates and d/s rock toe with drain as per approved drawing specification design slope as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including supply of all machineries, materials materials T&P, labour and supervision charges etc. complete. (Measurement will be taken on finished level section).

Providing stone riprap to the slopes of earthdam and dyke with quarried and blasted granite stone boulders of size 0.30m of approved quality hard granite blasted stone from approved quarry which are of dense sound abrasion resistance and of uniform colour, texture and free from weathered skin, crack, seams etc. weight not less than 75 kg. Volume and less than 0.035 cum. which ever is more including loading, unloading, cost, conveyance, royalty and all other taxes with lead and all lifts and delifts for u/s riprap fixing wave breakers and filling into the interstices to wedge stone in plates as per approved drawing specification design slope as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge including supply of all machineries, materials materials T&P, labour and supervision charges etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Measurement will be taken on finished level section).

Fine dressing and turfing the slopes of dykes as per the approved design with approved quality of compacted dub grass with all leads, lifts and including cost, conveyance, royalty cost, conveyance average 5 kms. and all other taxes as per drawing, design and specification and including cost of all machineries, T&P and supervision charges, watering and making arrangements for survival of grass to full green growth including cost of manure as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments with hard granite stones (15cm to 30cm) to proper line including cost, conveyance, royalty with a lead of 10km. Complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, Laying and fixing in position 450 mm daimeter R.C.C. spun pipes NP-3 with collars jointed with cement mortar 1:3 complete including cost of spun pipes and collars etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Cement Concrete M-15 grade with 20mm down graded back hard granite crusher broken aggregate stone chips with approved quality free from weathered skin and laying in layers including cost, carriage and royalty of all materials etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

R.C.C. work of M-20 grade with 20mm and down grade crushed granite coarse aggregarate 20mm down graded of approved quality mixed by concrete mixer and placing manually, compacting with vibrators including cost of all materials, labour charges with transportion of materials and placement within initial lead of 50m and initial lift of 1.50m for mixed concrete complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cutting, straightening, bendidng, binding and tying the grills and placing in position for fabrication and fixing of reinforcement including lapping, where necessary including supply of binding wire with all leads and lift from bending yard to placement spot including cost of M.S. or Tor steel bars as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work for concrete at all heights with F1 finish with steel shutters rigidly fixed & removal of forms & making good to the surfaces where necessary complete with all labour materials & T&P etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 50mm dia pvc casing pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical
