RCC of design mix of M-30 grade having specified characteristics compressive strength/ target mean strength of 300kg./cm2 in design mix with minimum quantity of cement as specified in IRC Code of 150 mm. cubes at 28 days curing after mixing & tests conducted in accordance with relevant clauses of IS 456/IS 516/IRC 216/1987/IRC-78/1983 using crusher broken hard granite course aggregate of 20mm down graded sizes & proportion as specified in clause-302.6.2 of IRC 21/1987 & IS-10262 & subject to mix design in conformity with the grading & proportion of different materials for concrete as specified in the relevant codes of approved quality, obtained from approved quarry & using minimum quantity of cement confirming to codal provision including hoisting, lowering & laying concrete in layers not exceeding 15cm thick compacting with vibrators watering & curing for 28 days including water tight steel centering , shuttering & form works finishing the exposed surface smooth providing beads & grooves wherever necessary including cost, conveyance royalties and all other taxes of all materials with all leads & lifts, cost of all labour T&P & machineries etc. required for the work including dewatering if necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost, conveyance of tor steel & binding wire & labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding welding & tying the grills lapping spacing etc. where ever necessary & hoisting & placing in position ( to be paid separately as required for RCC works)

Providing plain cement concrete M-15 with clean black hard granite stone aggregates of 40mm & down graded size of approved quality from approved quarry consistent with strength & cover of concrete & laying in position in layers not exceeding 150mm thick in the proper packing by means of vibrator to proper slope and to the required level including hoisting lowering laying concrete providing side shuttering & finishing all exposed surface smooth supplying & working of pumps, labour & T&P articles & all machineries, dewatering if required with cost conveyance, royality of all materials complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Foundation

Supply of HYSD bars confirming to gradeFe-500 cutting bending, binding, lapping, splicing, welding etc. (conforming to ISI specification) & jointing if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design, hoisting, lowering & laying position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete (weight of binding wire shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor (standard CO-efficient of different sizes of the steel shall be considered & welding & lapping should confirm to relevant clause of IRC-21/1987)

Supplying & filling good clean river sand inside the well/approach road including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost. Conveyance royality & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work complete ( measurement will be taken for compacted section as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.)

Providing Concrete concrete (1:3:6) in using 4cm size hard granite crusher broken metal of approved quality from approved quarry including watering, curing, side shuttering and raming with cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing fitting & fixing strip seal expansion joints at the edges of the slab with suitable anchoring arrangements by 12mm. M.S. Bars as per MOST design & drawing including fitting, fixing & welding with 6 mm. plates & filling joints of wearing coat with bitumen joint filler 12 mm. thick & joint sealing compound at top including painting of exposed surface of M.S. covered plates with anticorrosive bitumanstic paint etc. with cost, conveyance taxes of all materials labour & T&P etc. complete in all respects as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing , fitting and fixing of expansion joint by using salitex board of approved size including cost, carriage of all materials, labour charges ,T & P etc required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in- Charge

Providing, fitting and fixing Tar papers of approved size and quality as per approved design including cost,conveyance,royalty of all materials,labour charges ,T & P etc required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in- Charge.

Providing C.I. grating to holes in deck slabs size upto 15 cm dia for drainage of water including cost of materials, labour charges & T&P etc. required for the work complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing of RCC Guard post of 150 mm dia and 1m long as required as per drawing in RCC (1:2:4) using 12 mm size h.g chips etc. complete.

Rough stone dry packing in aprons and revetments of desgned thickness on slope using 30cm and above size hard broken granite stones of approved quality free from weathering skin and from approved quarry including filling the interestices with small stones spalls etc. with cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials and labour T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respects (the weight of each stone shall not be less than 50kg to 70kg) as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Weepholes in brick masonry / stone masonry, plain / reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 of MORD specification for Rural roads and as per direction of Engineer-in- charge.

Providing& laying filter media with stone crushed aggregates of 45mm size satisfying the requirement laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRTH specification to thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall & provided over the entire surface behind abutment,wingwall & return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drwawing & technical specification clauses and as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in cutting in hard soil in road embankment etc. within 50m initial lead and 1.5m initial lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.3m in depth and as per specification approved by the Department alongwith proper compaction with P.R.R. including hire and running charges of P.R.R. (section measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill).

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures in hard soil upto 3 m depth as per drawing and technical specification including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, and disposal up to a lead of 50m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with excavated suitable materials and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pits with all leads and lifts transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting at OMC by Vibratory Roller to meet the requirement of Table-300.2 as per Clause 305 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works(5th. Revision) complete including cost,conveyance,Royalities of all materials, all labours,hire and running charges of all machineries,T&P ,sundries etc. complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Granular Sub-base using moorum and sand admixture with required proportion having CBR value not less than 20 & PI value not more than 6 of approved quality including quarrying, collecting, conveying & stacking at work site or at approved stacking yard beyond the trafficable beams for pre-measurement good literate moorum of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials, labour charges, T&P articles required for the work etc. complete & labour for conveying from stacks, stacked at work site or at approved stacking yard spreading moorum in layers not exceeding 23cm. thickness watering & compacting to the required density at OMC with power road roller including cost & carriage of water, all T&P articles with hire & running charges of machineries such as PRR etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming,requisite type of screening/ binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density including cost, conveyance, royalty of material, labour charges, T&P etc. complete as per Technical Specification Clause 404 of MoRTH specification for road & bridge works (4th revision) by manual means and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 of MoRD and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying Tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.40 kg per sqm area on the prepared granular surface and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification clause 503 of MORD specification for Rural roads including cost of all matrials labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of the Engineer- in- Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded Premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm stone aggregates @ 0.27cum/10sqm area using S-65 penetration grade bitumen@ 14.60kg/10sqm area to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades as per Technical Specification Clause 508.of MORD specification for Rural roads by manual means including cost of all matrials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of the Engineer- in- Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510 of MORD with S-65 grade bitumen laid by manual means I.e., without chips spreader & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Loosening, levelling & compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm, mixed with water at OMC & then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in table 300-2 for embankment construction & clause 305 of MoRT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment ,wing wall & return wall with hard granite stone boulders grouted with sand including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing and turfing including transportation of turf by mechanical means with all leads and lifts and placing of turfs in position and ramming with thapies including watering and cost of labour and all materials required for the work complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Painting two coats with any approved enamel paint of approved colour, shade and quality to exterior plastered surface of approved quality in all floors and all heights including preparing the surface, watering and curing with cost, conveyance, royalties of all materials and cost of all labour, scaffolding, sundries and T&P. etc. required for the work etc. complete as per specification and directed by the Engineer in charge.

Painting two coats over a coat of priming on concrete surface by using water based cement paint of approved quality including cost of all matrials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of the Engineer- in- Charge.
