Construction of Granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method if required with rotavator, to achieve PI value less than 6 and compacting at OMC with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per Technical Specification and as per clause 401 of MoRD specification of Rural Roads (1st Revision) etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific size to W.B.M. specification including spreading in uniform thickness , hand packing rolling with 8-10ton roller applying and brooming requisite type of screening /binding materials to fillup the interstices watering including cost carriage royalty etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge & as per clause 502 of MoRD specification of Rural Roads (1st Revision) etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge & as per clause 503 of MoRD specification of Rural Roads (1st Revision) etc. complete and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, Supplying and laying of 20 mm thick Pre Mix Carpet including Labour using 0.27cum of 13.2mm to 5.6mm size crushed stone chipping and 14.60kg.penetration grade of bitumen for 10sqm including hand packing to proper camber and consolidation with PRR inclusive of hire and running charges of PRR , bitumen mixtures, tar boilers and all other T & P articles etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour for laying 6mm thick Precoated Seal coat type B using 0.06cum of 06 mm size and down graded as per sieve analysis and 6.80kg of bitumen per 10sqm and applying tack coat 2kg of bitumen for 10sqm including hire and running charges of P.R.R. Hot mix plant tar boiler, cost, carriage and royalty etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Fine dressing & turfing including transportation of turfs by mechanical means with all leads & lifts & placing of turfs in position and ramming with thapies including watering and cost of labour and all materials etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Earthwork in excavation for foundation of structures inhard soil upto 3 m depth as per drawing includding setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, and disposal up to a lead of 50m, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with excavated suitable materials and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and filling foundation & plinth with good clean river sand including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost. conveyance royality & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work complete (measurement will be taken for compacted section) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per direction of Engineer-in- charge & as per clause 614 of MoRD specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision)

Rough stone dry packing in approns and revetments of designed thickness on slope using 30cm and above size hard broken granite stones of approved quality free from weathering skin and from approved quarry including filling the interestices with small stones spalls etc. with cost, conveyance and royalty and with all leads and lifts and taxes of all materials and labour T&P etc complete in all respects (the weight of each stone shall not be less than 50kg to 70kg) as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge & Clause 1300 of of MoRD Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision).

Earthwork in excavation in cutting in hard soil within the initial lead and lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm andlaying in layers not exceeding 0.3 mtr in depth etc complete as per the direction of the Enngineer in Charge.

Overburden

Earthwork in excavation of foundation with all leads & lifts including dressing the sides & levelling the bed of the foundation to the required width & depth including shoring, shuttering propping bullah, pilling dewatering from foundation and as per direction of the engineer-in-charge.

Hard soil

Earthwork in excavation in foundation in hard rock within the initial lead and lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm andlaying in layers not exceeding 0.3 mtr in depth etc complete as per the direction of the Enngineer in Charge.

Cement concrete (1:3:6) in foundation & plinth with 4cm. crusher broken granite metal of approved quality from approved quarry including hoisting lowering & laying in layers not exceeding 150mm. thick with proper packing & ramming each layer of concrete by means of vibrator ,providing groove & beads where necessary including curing, dewatering, shoring, shuttering if necessary at the time of laying concrete with cost, conveyance royality & taxes of all material required for the work including supplying & working pumps, T&P articles finishing the exposed surface smooth as per clause 800,900,1200 & 1800 of MoRD Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision). & as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge .

Cement concrete of M-150 having maximum compressive strength of 150 kg./cm2 ( test to be conducted) on 150 mm. cubes tested at 28 days including curing (tests conducted in accordance with IS-456 & IS-516) & conforming to clause-302 of IRC 21/1987 using clean crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregate of 40 mm. size down grade of approved quality to be protested in the laboratory) obtained from approved quarry the proportion mix, grading conforming to relevant ISI/IRC codes including hoisting, lowering concrete in layers not exceeding 150 mm. thick each compacting with vibrator watering & curing for 28 days centering shuttering & finishing the exposed surface smooth providing grooves & beads where necessary including cost, conveyance royality & taxes of all labour machineries etc. required for the work complete in all respects including dismantling the centering & shuttering as per clause 800,900,1200 & 1800 of MoRD Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision). & as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge .

Foundation

RCC of design mix of M-250grade having specified characteristics compressive strength/ target mean strength of 250kg./cm2 in design mix with minimum quantity of cement as specified in IRC Code of 150 mm. cubes at 28 days curing after mixing & tests conducted in accordance with relevant clauses of IS 456/IS 516/IRC 216/1987/IRC-78/1983 using crusher broken hard granite course aggregate of 20mm. down graded.sizes & proportion as specified in clause-302.6.2 of IRC 21/1987 & IS-10262 & subject to mix design in conformity with the grading & proportion of different materials for concrete as specified in the relevant codes of approved quality, obtained from approved quarry & using minimum quantity of cement confirming to codal provision including hoisting, lowering & laying concrete in layers not exceeding 15cm thick compacting with vibrators watering & curing for 28 days including water tight steel centering , shuttering & form works finishing the exposed surface smooth providing beads & grooves wherever necessary including cost, conveyance royalties and all other taxes of all materials with all leads & lifts, cost of all labour T&P & machineries etc. required for the work including dewatering if necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost, conveyance of tor steel & binding wire & labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding welding & tying the grills lapping spacing etc. where ever necessary & hoisting & placing in position ( to be paid separately as required for RCC works) as per clause 800,900,1200 & 1800 of MoRD Specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision). & as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge .

Supply of HYSD bars confirming to grade S-415 cutting bending, binding, lapping, splicing, welding etc. (conforming to ISI specification) & jointing if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design, hoisting, lowering & laying position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete (weight of binding wire shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor (standard CO-efficient of different sizes of the steel shall be considered & welding & lapping should confirm to relevant clause of IRC-21/1987) as per clause 1001 of MORD specification for Rural Roads (1st Revision) & as per direction of Engineer-in -Charge.

Supplying & filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall etc with approved quality of granular materialincluding watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royality & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work complete (measurement will be taken for compacted section) as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Granular material

Sandy Material

Construction of RCC guard posts of 200 mm dia M15 grade cast-in-situ with 20 mm nominal size aggregate,true to line and grade,tolerance of vertical RCC posts not to exceed 1 in 500 as per drawing and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying of filter media with stone aggregates of 45mm. Size satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specifications and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing fitting & fixing stripseal expansion joints with M.S. Angles 75mm. X 75 mm. X 6 mm. at the edges of the slab with suitable anchoring arrangements by 12mm. M.S. Bars as per MoST design & drawing including fitting, fixing & welding with 6 mm. plates & filling joints of wearing coat with bitumen joint filler 12 mm. thick & joint sealing compound at top including painting of exposed surface of M.S. covered plates with anticorrosive bitumanstic paint etc. with cost, conveyance taxes of all materials labour & T&P etc. complete in all respects as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge as per clause 1403 of MoRD specification.

Providing, fitting, fixing Tar Papers including all cost, carriage, taxes etc complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting and applying two coats of water based cement paint to unplastered concrete surface after cleaning the surface of dirt, dust, oil, grease, efflorescense and applying paint @1 liter per 02 sqm etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in Charge.
