RCC of design mix of M-200 grade having specified characteristics compressive strength/ target mean strength of 200kg./cm2 in design mix with minimum quantity of cement as specified in IRC Code of 150 mm. cubes at 28 days curing after mixing & tests conducted in accordance with relevant clauses of IS 456/IS 516/IRC 216/1987/IRC-78/1983 using crusher broken hard granite course aggregate of 12 mm. to 20mm. sizes & proportion as specified in clause-302.6.2 of IRC 21/1987 & IS-10262 & subject to mix design in conformity with the grading & proportion of different materials for concrete as specified in the relevant codes of approved quality, obtained from approved quarry & using minimum quantity of cement confirming to codal provision including hoisting, lowering & laying concrete in layers not exceeding 15cm thick compacting with vibrators watering & curing for 28 days including water tight steel centering & shuttering & form works finishing the exposed surface smooth providing beads & grooves wherever necessary including cost, conveyance royalties and all other taxes of all materials with all leads & lifts cost of all labour T&P & machineries etc. required for the work including dewatering if necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost, conveyance of tor steel & binding wire & labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding welding & tying the grills lapping spacing etc. where ever necessary & hoisting & placing in position ( to be paid separately as required for RCC works)

(A) Wearing Coat

Supplying of HYSD bars confirming to grade S.415 cutting bending, binding, lapping, splicing welding etc., ( confirming to ISI specification) & joining if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design hoisting, lowering & laying position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauges(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete (weight of binding wire shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor (standard CO-efficient of different sizes of the steel shall be considered & welding & lapping should confirm to relevant clause of lRC-21/1987)

Rough stone dry packing in aprons & revetments with hard granite stone of 30cm.size & above having individual weight not less than 40kg. of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance royality & taxes of all materials, cost of all labour including filling the interstics with small stones by wedging & hammering & finishing to proper slope including dewatering & T&P articles etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Hand broken granite stones should be stacked at work site in regular stacks for use in the work with all leads & lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge for premeasurement ( voids to be ascertained as per actual observations).

(A)Using New Stone

Supplying & filling good clean river sand in foundation structures and inside the approach road including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost. conveyance, royalty & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in Charge. (Measurement will be taken for compacted section as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.)

Back filling with granular materials in side approach road including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost. conveyance, royalty & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in Charge. (Measurement will be taken for compacted section as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.)

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with AC pipe 100 mm dia slope of 1V :20H towards drawing foce. Complete as per drawing and Technical specification as per the approved design & drawing including providing centering & shuttering with cost,conveyance, royality & taxes of all materials T&P articles etc. complete in all respects as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Gravel backing to approns / revetments (provided for slope protection ) including cost and conveyance of all materials to site etc, including cost, conveyance, royalty, taxes, labour, T&P & all other materials required for the work complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing 15cm dia 1.00m long guard posts of RCC (1:2:4) using 7.5Kg of steel for each guard post with 12mm size black hard granite stone chips including cost of all reinforcement and materials centering shuttering and watering curing etc complete.as per specification and direction of Engineer in Charge

Providing fitting & fixing expansion joints at the edges of the slab as per approved drawing including fitting, fixing filling joints with salitax board with all cost, conveyance taxes of all materials labour & T&P etc. complete in all respects as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cost of Saletax board

Providing, Fitting, Fixing Tar paper including cost, conveyance & all taxes of all materials and T&P required for the work etc all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in all sorts of soil in embankments/ shoulders/ sub grade and with maximum laboratory dry density not less than 1.44 gm/1.52 gm/ 1.65 gm per CC respectively with all leads & lifts from approved borrow pits away from the toe of the final section of the road embankments bottom of the pit not being cut by an imaginary line having a slope 1:4 projected from the edge of the final section of the bank including rough dressing and breaking clods max 5 cm to 7 cm & laying in layers each layer not exceeding 23 cm in depth up to required level including removal of roots shrubs bushes and all foreign debris from the earth and benching the road embankment sectioning and cambering the earthwork and conveyance of all materials T&P articles required for the work complete in all respect as per direction of the engineer in charge and to be measured on section measurment after compaction under OMC condition @ 97%/100%/100% of standard proctor density embankments / shoulders / sub grade respectively etc including cost of controled compaction with PRR watering for achiving OMC as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

By Mechanical Means

Providing granular sub-base using gravel & sand admixture with required proportion having CBR value not less than 20 & PI value not more than 6 of approved quality including quarrying, collecting, conveying & stacking at work site or at approved stacking yard beyond the trafficable beams for pre-measurement good literate moorum of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance, royalty & taxes including cost of T&P articles required for the work etc. complete & labour for conveying from stacks, stacked at work site or at approved stacking yard spreading moorum in layers not exceeding 23cm. thickness watering & compacting to the required density at OMC with power road roller including cost & carriage of water, all T&P articles with hire & running charges of machineries such as PRR etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-charge .

Providing 75mm. compacted thickness WBM using following size of metal including quarrying, collecting, conveying & stacking at work site or at approved stacking yard beyond the trafficable beams for pre-measurement of metal of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance, royalty & taxes including cost of T&P articles required for the work etc. complete & labour for conveying from stacks, stacked at work site or at approved stacking yard spreading & laying metal of all sizes in layers to proper camber & grade including hand packing & compacting with PRR conveying moorum from stacks, filling the interstices spreading the same over the metalled surface in required quantities watering, including carriage of water consolidating with PRR including hire & running charges of PRR & all other machineries cost & conveyance of water T&P articles required for the work etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (measurement will not be taken for quantity of filter materials, compacted thickness to be measured as 75mm. thick)

(A)WBM Gr II (63 mm -45 mm size)

Providing bituminous Tack Coat of bituminous materials @ 2.00kg/ 10 Sqm on properly prepared surface including all labour & cost & carriage of maxphalt etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge including cleaning the existing Base surface to receive the bituminious material

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using S-65 penetration grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type C by manual means and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing,laying pre-coated seal coating including heating maxphalt to required temperature, pouring over road surface, conveying, spreading uniformly 6mm. Thick over the tack coat using 6.8kg./10sqm. Of bitumen for pre-coating the 0.06cum./10sqm. Area, rolling with P.R.R over the pre-coated seal coat @0.06cum./10sqm. Including hire & running charges of P.R.R., T&P articles & all other machineries required but excluding cost, carriage etc., of chips & including cost of maxphalt etc., complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in charge.

Fine dressing and turfing including transportation of turfs by mechanical means with all leads and lifts and placing the turfs in position and ramming with thappies including watering and cost of labour and all materials etc complete asper direction of Engineer-in charge.
