Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement as per MORD technical Specification Clause 301 and direction of the Engineer in Charge (excluding cost of excavation and transportation to site).

Fine dressing and turfing including transportation by mechanical means with all leads and lifts and placing of turfs in position and ramming with thapies including watering and cost of labour and all materials etc.complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying & filling good clean river sand of approved quality including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty & taxes of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer in charge.

Providing granular sub-base using moorum CBR value not less than 20 & PI value not more than 6 mix with required proportion of sand of approved quality including cost, conveyance & royalty including cost of T&P articles required for the work etc. complete & labour for spreading moorum in layers not exceeding 23cm. thickness watering & compacting to the requried density at OMC with power road roller including cost & carriage of water, all T&P articles with hire & running charges of machineries such as PRR etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer- in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per Technical Specification Clause 405 of MoRD by manual means and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using manual means for low porosity surface and as per direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS) at the rate of 0.20 to 0.40 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer using manual means & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades by manual means with cost, conveyance, royality & taxes & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using 6.7mm aggregates with bitumen laid by manual means with cost, conveyance, royality & taxes & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of Unreinforced cement concrete pavement, thickness as per design, over a prepared sub base, with 43 grade cement or any other type as per Clause 1501.2.2 M30 (Grade), coarse and fine aggregates conforming to IS:383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm & using Plasticizer as approved, mixed in a concrete mixer of not less than 0.2 cum capacity and appropriate weigh batcher using approved mix design, laid in approved fixed side formwork, laying and fixing of 125 micron thick polythene film, wedges including levelling the formwork as per drawing, spreading the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joints, primer, sealant on the joint as approved, curing of concrete slabs for 14-days with curing compound and water, finishing to lines and grade as per Clause 1501 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty,taxes, labour and T&P required for the work and as per direction of Engineer-in charge.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clause 600,700&1200 of MoRD and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying R.C.C. Hume pipes of NP3 class(confirming to relevant IS specification) for culverts including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:3 including cost, conveyance royality, labour, T&P,all other materials required for the work etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing cement concrete M-15 with clean hard granite chips of 40mm. down graded size of approved quality and specification from approved quarry consistent with strength & cover of concrete of in position in layers not exceeding 150mm thick in the proper packing by means of vibrator to proper slope and to the required level including hoisting lowering laying concrete providing side shuttering & finishing all exposed surface smooth supplying & working of pumps, labour & T&P articles & all machineries, dewatering if required cost conveyance, royality & taxes of all materials complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge complete in all rerspects.

In Foundation

Providing RCC work of M-25 grade of controlled quality having cube strength of 250kg./cm2 mix with minimum quantity of cement as specified in IRC Code of 150 mm. cubes at 28 days curing after mixing & tests conducted in accordance with relevant clauses of IS 456/IS 516/IRC 16/1987/IRC-78/1983 using crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregate of 10 mm. to 20mm. sizes obtained from approved quary & proportion as specified in clause-302.6.2 of IRC 21/1987, IS-10262 & including hoisting, lowering & laying concrete in layers compacting with vibrators watering & curing for 28 days including water tight steel centering & shuttering & form works finishing the exposed surface smooth providing beads & grooves wherever necessary including cost, conveyance royalties, Cess of all materials with all leads & lifts, cost of all labour T&P & machineries etc. required for the work including dewatering if necessary, complete in all respects as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge but excluding cost, conveyance of tor steel & binding wire & labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding welding & tying the grills lapping spacing etc. where ever necessary & hoisting &

In Superstructure

Providing and laying of Filter media with stone crushed aggregates of 45mm size satisfying the requirements laid down in clause 2504.2.2 of MoRTH specifications to a thickness of not less than 600 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surfact behind abutment,wing wall and return wall to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and Technical Specification & direction of Engineer-in Charge.

Providing RCC M30 grade in wearing course using 12 mm size and down graded crusher broken hard granite stone aggregate of approved quality from approved quarry including hoisting, lowering and laying in position in layers with proper packing and ramming by means of vibtator to proper slope and level incuding watering and curing with cost conveyance, royalty and taxes of all materials required for the work including hire and running charges of machineries required for the work including all labour , T&P for the work ect. complete in all respect as per the specification and direction of the Engineer – in – charge.

Providing HYSD bars confirming to approved grade F-415 including all labours for cutting, bending, binding, lapping, splicing, welding etc. (conforming to ISI specification) & jointing if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design, hoisting, lowering & laying position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete with Cess in all respect (weight of binding wire shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor) as per specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Rough stone dry packing in aprons & revetments with hard granite stone of 30cm.size & above having individual weight not less than 40kg. of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance royality & taxes of all materials, cost of all labour including filling the interstics with small key stones by wedging & hammering & finishing to proper slope including dewatering & T&P articles etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Using New Stone

Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty, taxes, labour and T&P required for the work as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & fixing guard stones of R.C.C. M-15 grade guard / boundary post of standard design as per IRC-25 fixed position as per drawing and MoRD Technical Specifications Clause 1700 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and installing of reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade Kilometer stone/ local stone of standard design as per IRC : 8 fixing in position including painting, and printing etc. as per clause 1703 of MORD specification for Rural roads and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty, taxes, labour and T&P required for the work and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
