ii) Protection Toe Wall

Earth work in excavation in hard soil or gravelly soil with all leads, lifts & delifts including rough dressing and levelling, laying in layers with all labour, T&P, taxes and cess etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation of any approved type soil in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation by mechanical means unloading the soil with an initial lead of 3 Km, laying on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including spreading and levelling the earth in 22.50cm layers to make ready for watering and compaction excluding cost of watering and compaction in dam and dykes of all heights etc. with all labour, T&P, taxes and cess etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation, loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil, including stony earth, gravel and moorum etc. interspread with boulders up to 1/2 cum size with all lifts & delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section & depositing the excavated materials away from the work site as per the specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge within an initial lead of 0Km from the place of excavation complete.

Compacting and watering upto O.M.C. rolling erath work with PRR in embankment in layers not exceeding 0.23m by power road roller including hire and running charges of the roller (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section of the fill under O.M.C. condition) with in initial lead & lift including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.30 M with PRR with labour, materials, T&P, royalty, taxes and cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Ordinary compaction of earth work by PRR including cost of hire & running charges of PRR, cess and all taxes as applicable etc. complete as per and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with sand of good quality including watering and ramming with all labour, T&P etc complete to the required level including cost, carriage, royalty & cess of all meterials etc. complete as per and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying approved quality of coarse sand and laterite moorum for road work, conveying to the work site admixing the both in 40 (sand) : 60 (moorum) proportion and laying the admixture in sub base in layers not exceeding 100mm in thickness, watering and compacting to the required density with P.R.R. including hire and running etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, supplying and stacking at work site crusher broken hard granite metal 63mm to 45mm size confirming to I.R.C Grade-II metal in box heaps of size 1.50M X 1.50M X 0.50M to be measured as 1Cum and conveying from stacks and spreading 0.91 Cum metal on road surface including filling the interstices with 0.22 Cum of moorum per each 10 Sqm road surface to provide 75 mm thick compacted WBM road surface including providing necessary camber, watering & rolling by P.R.R with cost, conveyance, royality and taxes of all materials etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Collecting, supplying and stacking at work site crusher broken hard granite metal 53mm to 22.40mm size confirming to I.R.C Grade-III metal in box heaps of size 1.50M X 1.50M X 0.50M to be measured as 1Cum and conveying from stacks and spreading 0.91 Cum metal on road surface including filling the interstices with 0.24 Cum of stone screened dust & binding material per each 10 Sqm road surface to provide 75 mm thick compacted WBM road surface including providing necessary camber, watering & rolling by P.R.R with cost, conveyance, royality and taxes of all materials etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired as per clause 406 of MoSRTH Specification for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision).

Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer @ of 0.60kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Clause-502 of MoSRTH Specification for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision).

Providing & applying Tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor @ of 0.20kg/sqm on prepared bituminous / granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per Clause-503 of MoSRTH Specification for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision).

Providing and laying Bituminous Macadam (BM) with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transported the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to be required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRTH Specification for Road & Bridge works. including hire and running charges of all machineries with cost, conveyance & royalty of bitumen, metal and chips etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous (SDBC) with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transported the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to be required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRTH Specification for Road & Bridge works. including hire and running charges of all machineries with cost, conveyance & royalty of bitumen, metal and chips etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and placing Cement Concrete M-15 grade using Agreegate 40mm & down graded size hard granite crusher broken stone aggregates from approved quarry with all leads lifts & delifts, including cost of carriage, royalty and curing upto specified days etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and placing in position of Cement Concrete of design mix of M 15 A-20 grade having specified characteristic compressive strength of 15 N/mm2 in design mix with the quantity of cement as specified in IS. / I.R.C.. code of 150 mm cube at 28 days curing after mixing & tests conducted in accordance with relevant clauses of I.S. 516/I.R.C. -78 using crusher broken hard granite coarse aggregate 20 mm downgraded and proportion as specified in I.S. 456 / I.R.C. 21 code and subject to mix design in conformity to the grading and proportion of different materials of concrete in canal structures as specified in the relevant codes of approved quantity obtained from approved quarry and using the minimum quantity of cement in accordance with the test result of design mix as per relevant clause of IS code and approved quality of aggregates free from weathered skin surface and any other deleterious materials, uniform coloured texture with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, carriage, royalties, cess, taxes and quality control test cost of all materials, dewatering, mixing and vibrating for compaction by mechanical means and providing grooves or beads wherever necessary including cost, carriage of water, curing, T&P labour and supervision charges including mobilization and demobilization including hire and running charges of all machineries etc with cost of construction and maintenance of coffer dam and diversion arrangement and removal required in complete as per approved design, drawing, specification and direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing rough stone dry packing in approns and revetments with Granite broken stone of size not less than 0.0025 Cum (Stacked) including cost conveyance of all materials to site, with all labour, materials, T&P. Providing weep holes in brick masonry / plain/ reinforced concrete abuttments, wing walls / return walls with 100mm dia A.C pipe etc. with all labour, materials, T&P, royalty, taxes and cess etc. complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Fine dressing and turfing to the slopes of Dam, Dyke, Canal & Road banks etc. including watering up to survival of turfs with all leads, lifts & delifts with all labour, T&P, all taxes and cess etc complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

The item rates indicated aove work inclusive of cost of all labour, materials,conveyence,taxes and royality(with EMF,DMF and additional charges) of materials,labour cess,here and running charges of all machineries and equipments and other incidental charges so as to complete the item in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-In-Charge.Accordingly the bidder has to quote the rates.The rate are exclusive of GST as applicable.
