The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years. The similar works can be either: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less; - Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less; - One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. For projects with an estimated cost above Rs. 1000 Cr., the minimum eligibility criteria for similar work experience is defined by considering the estimated cost as Rs. 1000 Cr. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current level by enhancing the actual value of work done at a simple rate of 7% per annum. In terms of financial parameters, the Average annual financial turnover (after enhancement) for the last 3 years shall be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should submit certificates issued by the client's organization to support their past experience in similar nature of work, along with other required documents. The bidder can use the work experience of its subsidiary company to the extent of its ownership in the subsidiary company, and work executed as a labour contract shall not be considered. The value of free supplies shall be separately certified by the employer, and the experience certificate for works done in a joint venture (JV)/consortium with other firms/companies shall only be allowed on submitting valid proof of their share/work done. The bidder needs to submit details of similar works executed, including the name of the work, location, client, type of work, date of start and completion, final approved value of the contract, and cost of items supplied by the employer. The cost of work on completion, including the cost of supplies free of cost or at a fixed rate by the employer, should also be provided, represented as (X+Y), where (X) is the final approved value of the contract (excluding items supplied free of cost by the employer) and (Y) is the cost of items supplied by the employer free of cost or at fixed rates. In the case of joint ventures (JV), the bidder's share percentage in the JV is also required.
