The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the "Bid Capacity" calculation, which involves the value of works executed in the last five years. The bidder should have completed work of similar nature during the last 7 years, specifically Construction of RCC Framed structure of Building works including water supply, sanitary works, electrification works, etc. The similar works requirements are as follows: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Or two similar completed works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost, - Or one similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 7% per annum based on the rupee value to bring them to the current financial year price level for bid capacity. The bidder needs to have a minimum bid capacity that is more than the total bid value to be qualified. The value of 40% of the estimated cost is also mentioned, which is related to the solvency certificate that the bidder must have, duly certified by the banker.
