Earth work in dam and embankment in specified section using approved earth excavated by manual or mechanical means excluding all kinds of rocks from borrow areas including loading in to and transportation by mechanical or by manual means and unloading the earth within 1Km lead on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface with all leads, lifts & de-lifts, spreading and levelling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5cm depth, removing the undesirable materials, breaking clods to a maximum 5 to 7 cm size including all costs to make ready for watering and compaction including construction, maintenance, watering, lighting of haul roads and borrow areas with all costs for approach road, diversion road, site illumination, mobilization, demobilization, T & P, royalty and other taxes etc. complete with all costs incidental to work as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete but excluding cost of watering and compaction etc. (measurement will be taken on the finished approved level section. 1/6th volume will deducted for settlement of embankment only).

Earth work in all kinds of soil with all leads and lifts to proper slope and profile as per the requirement including rough dressing and breaking clods to maximum 5cm to 7cm and laying in layers not exceeding 0.30M in depth to proper slope and profile with supply of all labour and tools and plants, all materials all taxes & supervision charges to complete the item of work as per design drawing and specification and as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. (Benching)

Excavation in all kinds of soil including moorum, stoney earth, gravel etc. excepting all kinds of rock & boulders exceeding 0.014 cum in volume in reservoir area by mechanical means, loading into and transportation by mechanical means and unloading the soil within initial lead of 1 Km and dumping the excavated materials away from work site including construction and maintenance and lighting of haul road including rough dressing and breaking clods maximum 5cm to 7 cm in size and including laying, spreading the useful soil not exceeding 0.030M depth upto required level in dam with proper slope and profile including supply of all labour, T&P as required for the work etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge (measurement will be taken on the finished compacted approved level section).

Ramming rolling the earth work by light H.R.R. to proper section and profile to all heights as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, including hire charges and running charges of H.R.R. with supply of all labour and T&P. required for the item etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Cement Concrete M15 grade on approved surface , shape and size using 20mm and downgraded crusher broken hard granite chips aggregates of approved quality quarried, free from weathered skin surface and any other deleterious materials, using clean and sharp sand of approved grading and quality confirming to the design specifications including hoisting & lowering to all heights, watering & dewatering, laying the concrete in position to proper slope and level, compacting in layers with vibrators and finishing the exposed surface smooth, curing for required time, providing beads and grooves including hire charges of concrete mixer and vibrator with cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials, with all cost of tools and plant, cost and carriage of water etc, with supply of all labour and supervision charges including mobilisation & demobilisation of machineries, all incidental charges required for the work complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and removing rigid and smooth centering and shuttering for all C.C. and R.C.C. works including false work and dismentalling the same after casting and proper curing including cost, conveyance, royality and taxes of all materials required for the work with supply of all labour and T&P required for the work etc. complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer in charge. (For Super Structure)

Providing stone riprap to the slopes of earthdam and dyke with quarried and blasted granite stone boulders of size 0.30m and above including dumping on slopes filling interstices with small stones & wedges and packing surface to proper line and levels including fixing wave breakers complete with all leads and lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty and other taxes of all materials including supply of all labour and T&P materials complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling foundation and plinth with excavated earth including watering and ramming to all heights with all leads & lifts with all labour. T&P materials and labour cess as required for the work finished smooth as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling the foundation and plinth with sand with watering and ramming to the required condition including all cost, conveyance, royality and other taxes of all materials and including supplying of all labour and T&P required for the item etc. complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour for spreading moorum and consolidation with light HRR including watering but including cost and conveyance of moorum and including all labour, T&p, taxes royalty required to complete the item as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing the slope of the embankment and turfing with best compacted dub grass sods with all leads lifts and delifts including periodical watering till survival of turf with supply of all labour and T&P required for the work etec. Complete in all respect as directed by the Engineer in charge (Measurement is to be taken after survival of sods only)
