Straightening, cutting, bending, binding, fitting and placing uncoated HYSD bar reinforcement and laying in position including cost of binding wire 18 to 20 gauge and fixing of reinforcement including lapping where necessary with all leads, lifts from bending yard to placement spot including cost, conveyance & all taxes of reinforcement as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Weight of binding wires is not included for payment purpose).

Fine dressing & turfing the slope of the canal with compacted dub grass with all leads & lifts complete to all heights including periodical watering till survival of the sods as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (payment will bemade after survival of sods)

Excavation of any approved type of soil free from roots and waste materials, kankar etc. excluding all rocks in approved borrow area by mechanical means loading into and transportation mechanical means and un-loading the soil with all leads, lifts and delifts on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including cost of loading and un-loading, spreading and leveling the earth in 22.5cm layers to make ready for watering and compaction with sheep foot rollers and dozers but excluding cost of watering and compaction in dams and dykes for all heights measured above the stripped average ground level including trimming the extra earth beyond the designed section including construction, maintenance of coffer dam as and where required and construction, maintenance, watering and lighting of haul road and borrow area complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge (Measurement of the fill to be taken on the finished compacted surface in level section under O.M.C. condition).

Providing weep holes in Brick work masonry/ Plain / Reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall/retuen wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending thriugh the full width of the structure with slope of iv :20H towards force, Complete as per drawing and technical specification

Excavation loading, unloading and carriage by mechanical means of all kinds of soil, including stoney earth,gravel and moorum etc interspread with boulders upto 1/2 cum size with all lifts and delifts including trimming of slopes and bed to design section and depositing the excavated materials away from work site as per the specification and as directed by the EIC within an intial lead of 1km from place of excavation complete.
