Part-II: ROAD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of class- B type IV retroreflective sheeting fixed over 2mm thick aluminium sheeting vide clause 801.3, 3mm/4mm thick Aluminum composite material sheet depending on the size of the sign fixed over back support frame of min 25x25x3mm Angle mounted on a mild steel circular pipe 65 NB, 3.2 mm thicknness firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. The signs shall be maintained as per section 12 of IRC 67

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x 100 mm, die-cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm upto a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS 873 part 4:1973

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 .The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

PART-III: PERFORMANCE BASED INCIDENT MANAGEMENT AND PAVEMENT REPAIR FOR ONE YEAR

Providing treatment and repair to pot holes/ruts of any depth/patch repair of all types of bitumen pavement complete as per Technical Specification Clause 3004.2, and as per direction of Engineer by using paving grade bitumen/emulsion/cold ready mix material. The job includes removal of all failed material, trimming of completed excavation to provide firm vertical faces, cleaning of surface, painting of tack coat on the sides and base of excavation as per Clause no. 503, back filling the patch with bituminous material as per Clause no. 509. Compacting trimming and finishing the surface to form a smooth continuous surface all as per Clause no. 3004.2 of Technical Specifications. Notes: 1) For performance based items of work, the contractor shall be entitled for receiving payment proportionate to the average percentage performance assessed for achievement between 80 to 100%. Contractor shall not be entitled for payment of peerfrmance based items of work if the average performance is rated less than 80%. 2) Performance to be assesesed km wise during bi-monthly (i.e fortnightly) insspection as per road maintenance standard indicated in clause 2.1
