East Coast Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For substantially completed work, the percentage of completion is 90% or more of the present contract value. The amount of payment made for adjustment of Price Variation (PVC) is excluded from the contract value for determining substantially completed work. The value of the final bill, including the PVC amount, shall be considered as the completion cost of work. If a work is physically completed and a completion certificate is issued, but the final bill is pending, such work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials. In case a work is started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years, the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials.
